Keep the burro away from the pizza.

Nobody wants to have saliva soaked pizza from a baboso burro.

Check to see if anybody shows up from Redgate Communications.

The STNC is probably the most effective NC in the City. I admire their tenacity and comprehension of the issues. The rest of the NC's should follow their model!

What kind of pizza is it?
Seriously, this is one of the more sucessful NC's and just the kind of place they work best: small, pretty homogenous, solidly middle-class places, where people's egos aren't through the roof, and they conduct themselves and relations with their Councilperson with civility.
Too bad that isn't the case in so many NC's across the city.

I wish he were the main problem -- nutcases are easier to deal with.
Read Diane Middleton's resignation letter of a couple weeks ago for a hint -- the paper's got a current and past week's counterattack on her for telling it like it is. I knew her, and she's not making stuff up, why would she?
Speaking of nutty, though: Venice Beach's Town Hall Mtg. discussing the vending ordinance (about which we had a rather biased report here) was hilarious in one of those stranger-than-real ways that can only be Venice.
Rosendahl was great: Whoever spoke, even shamen threatening to put dire curses and even death upon those who went against the will of the "artists," Rosendahl cut them off when their 2 mins. were up with "Bless you," totally unphased. But curses of death and voodoo are NOTHING to the meanness of some of the groups I've attended.
