ZUMA DOGG Sunday Update

4:00 PM UPDATE: CLINTON CAMPAIGN MANAGER PATTY SOLIS DOYLE STEPS DOWN AND IS REPLACED BY LONG TIME CLINTON PAL, MAGGIE WILLIAMS. A lot of dissatisfaction with the ground operations and delivery of a mixed message. Lines of communications were confused. Junior field staff didn't know who to report to between Patti and Hil's pal Maggie. Complaints a lot of money was being wasted on spending. Unsure of the campaign direction. Hillary made the decision herself. Overall, this is the type of stuff that happens when things are going south.

SEE VIDEO OF MAYOR AT CLINTON LOCAL RALLY: He says, "Health care is a right, not a privilege." But he wants the privilege to garnish your wages for the right. Plus a surprise appearance by the smoothest-shady, Alex Padilla. And, how come the Mayor can now only speak in short phrases?

LA Times TOP California-Local Online Story for 2/10/08
Gala opens new L.A. art museum: Glitzy debut of the Broad Contemporary Art Museum, or BCAM, marks rebirth after difficult times at LACMA.

[HEY LA TIMES...With all of the economic hardship that is affecting business owners and homeowners, in a city under a declared financial emergency, HOW DARE YOU use the term "difficult times" on an issue like this. It's funded by Eli Broad. Is that who you are concerned about in these "difficult times", LA Times? YOU JUST DON'T GET IT, DO YOU?...THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH BILLIONAIRES TO SUPPORT THE CIRCULATION YOU NEED.] That's it...I'm pulling out my story on Grand Avenue Project! With the stuff LA Weekly didn't print!

CLICK HERE FOR COMEDY REVIEW OF GRAND AVENUE (BILLIONAIRE WELFARE) PROJECT: Here's a big five star, luxury reason why the mayor has to pass Prop S and create a bunch of bukly item, trash and all kinds of new fees and taxes. Just what Downtown DOES NOT need. It will fail, if it hasn't already! (Plus, I heard the entire project is illegal!)

Education & Neighborhoods
will consider the Review Commission recommended Sunshine Law on Tuesday, according to Citywatch. If approved, it would replace the Brown Act for neighborhood council. (That's all they report, for now, or I would have linked to more. And I know it was covered here, but I wanted it in my weekend post in case people didn't see it during the week.)

WRITERS STRIKE: ZD broke the news that the Writers Strike would end this weekend. Posted it early Friday Morning and said you would be reading about it in the newspapers on Sunday. Remember, the guy who refers to himself in third person will always be bringing you "news before it happens".

"Influential Politician" CM Dennis Zine Makes International Coverage over "Britney Paparazzi" Law

PUBLIC NOTICE: My Zuma Times website is too political and serious for my original comedy fans -- and the www.neighborhoodcouncil.blogspot.com ain't exactly the best URL name to remember. So I created a new website and blog LACityUpdate.com and LADailyBlog.com
. With national Presidential elections taking up a lot of local media coverage -- and more local shadiness than I can blog about here on Mayor Sam, without hogging up the blog -- a lot of people are disappointed that their local, community issues are slipping through the cracks. So I'll try and fire up the side blog again for all the things that have been slipping through the cracks.

So don't trip ZD spinning crybabies...I'm still blogging on the big boy/real political heat -- Mayor Sam's blog. But I wanted to change the names of the site I have been using...AND, I'm gonna try to accomodate all the information people have been calling and emailing to me, that I haven't posted, since it looks like were going to be getting LESS local coverage, not MORE anytime soon. (I'll be glad to simply post everything and anything I want here on Mayor Sam, because more people will see it -- but I know that throws the balance of the blog off for some readers.)

AND SINCE I HAVEN'T LIKED SOME OF THE SHALLOW SPIN WITH SOME LIES TACKED ON FOR BAD MEASURE REGARDING ZD: IS THE MAYOR DATING AGAIN??? I DON'T THINK HE EVER GOT OVER HIS TRIP TO ASIA WITH HIS FASHION-DESIGNING/PLANNING-DEPARTMENT APPOINTEE?

Well, I'll tell you why, you uneducated phony:

Because that is how people accpt information best.

7:34 am, they were two separate points. Sorry you were confused. The mayor can only speak in short sentences, and word on the street is because his brain is fried. (Ask his former phone answerer why!)

AND, he says, "Health care is a right..." BUT HE WILL GARNISH YOUR WAGES FOR THE RIGHT!

And you are obviously no pro, because you fall on your face every time.

How did Clinton do yesterday? Can you say, "NOT the momentum candidate." That's cool..you wouldn't like Washington, DC anyway. No illegal vending on the streets.

And 7:38, are you really going to try and dispute I posted that the strike would end this weekend, before the local newspapers or news media? And are they not saying this weekend that they have come to a deal? Common...don't argue on a weakness. Show me where the stories were posted elsewhere, before ZD?

Mayor Villa-Murgroso should be the mayor of Tijuana. He would fit right in with all the corrupt cops and politicans.

Villa-Murgroso would be the loved by the mexican drug cartels who "pay to play" and own as many cops and politicians.

If we wait a few more years the mexican cartels will have enough Tijuana politicos like Huizar and Villa-Mugroso to easily buy.

If you think there is corruption now because of billonaire developers, just wait until the mexican drug cartels move into city hall. We will see human heads rolling down Hill St. Zuma will then be begging for the former days of "shady" billionaire developers in L.A.

We all know we need more illegal immigrants, especially from Mexico. Just look at what the hard working Mexican people have done here in Los Angeles. Los Angeles is a great, safe, and beautiful city because of all the immigrants from Mexico.

As for the Mayor speaking in short "sound bites" -- that's because that is what they are. Anyone who's ever spoken to the media or given interviews knows that if you go on and try to elaborate your point and try to sound "intelligent," the reporters especially on tv will cut you down anyway, into sound bites of THEIR choosing, and can distort you and make you sound dumb.

He's probably just gotten coaching on that -- if you're going to be cut down to a few short words, let them be of your own choosing.

Dum-dum.

11:54: Hey, you racist menudo stuffer: Italy does NOT have a lot of illegals, and they deport those North Africans who try to get in. If you'd ever been there, you'd know they are very, very, very jealous about protecting their culture and language and hate illegals and "dark" foreigners. (Even though some of Southern Sicily's culture has been influenced by N. Africa which is just some 30 miles south, but that's another matter -- they don't want them darkies coming in now.)

Never mind interracial dating (No, no!), they don't even like African waiters who don't speak perfect Italian waiting on them. The number of illegals they have getting free healthcare is small AND a source of great contention, they don't want no more of them. Precisely because they drag down the whole social safety net.

AND if they go to public schools, they'd damned better be wanting -- not just willing, wanting -- the "privilege" of learning Italian.

In France, too, their whole society is divided over the illegals and if you didn't have your arse up your guacamole, you'd know they even banned head scarves, anything non-
"French." They have always had blacks in their colonies and as long as they speak perfect French and "act" French in culture, they're accepted -- but ONLY then.

Don't be goin' to either of those countries and demanding "your" culture be taught and "respected." The French even look down on the Spaniards as backwards, although that has been changing the last two decades, as the EU pumped tons of $ into Spanish roads and infrastructure, making it more of a continental draw...

France does NOT give legal status to anchor babies, none of the Europeans do. Even 3rd-generations of them are "guest workers" and subject to deportation.

Both France and Italy, like Germany and Holland, look at California in particular and the US in general, as the HELLHOLES overrun by foreign cultures that they don't want.

And by the way: although it's the Mexicans we have by the millions, it's the philosophy of "giving away our culture" to uneducated and unappreciative masses that's at issue. (Even the Mexican government admits that the majority of Mexicans who sneak up here have less than a 9th grade Mexican education, and are too ignorant to learn English or help their kids do so -- you have to be educated in your OWN language to learn another easily, and to become an intelligent voting citizen.)

WHAT are you trying to prove on this blog, you Medudo stuffer? If "your" culture, society and language are so great and superior, why don't you go "home?" (Where you're the most xenophobic culture, worse than the Italians.)

10:22,
You forgot to answer the question about the Universal Health Care in both Paris and Milan, what up homeboy?
As far as undocumented workers, you have obviously not been to Europe lately or you would have found undocumented workers throughout Europe, Latin Americans, Turks, North Africans, Slavs, Poles, Pakistanis ect ect throughout Europe, pendejo.

This is a product of the growing middle and affluent class's who are not into menial or industrial labor anymore and due to "Socialized" Education, Health Care, strong Union's, and an easier lifestyle have forsaken the old labor intensive agricultural and industrial jobs for careers that may be slightly more rewarding and provide lots of leisure time for other pursuits.

It's curious though because it wasn't so long ago that the Southern Europeans from countries like Italy, Spain, Greece, were the "wetbacks" or illegal immigrant workers that provided the menial shit jobs in many European countries especially the Scandinavian countries, where the Italians and Greeks were considered the "dark subhumans".

Funny how time and money changes one's perspective though.
Like the Okies and Dust Bowl refugees who were considered the trash and lowest form of white man when they were immigrants from poverty and corporate failure.

See what a little money and historical amnesia will do for you?

"influential pol" Zine his bald arse.

Doesn't he wish.

Where he is in the West Valley, there are no big celebs, and Britney isn't in his district or anywhere near it.

It's his way to try to get press for himself and his big bald head, by sticking his wide, dumb nose in anything to do with the cops -- but then undermining them when it comes to their wishes in the rank and file, like when they asked the City Council to stick up for them and have the extreme and unnecessary version of the Financial Disclosure laws as currently decreed, looked into.

The paparazzi ARE a menace to the neighbors and general public of the airheads who pose for them, and then maybe feel they go too far. The sleazy media whores trample the houses of their neighbors, create obstacles to egress and bring in noisy choppers, too.

So there is a valid point there, but it should come from someone on the celeb side of town, the westside, malibu and Beverly Hills, where they chase celebs and create accidents. It's a matter of time before they run someone down (they have already done it to each other) and sue the cops and the cities.

Just seems wrong coming from Zine, who was too dumb to get promoted about beat sergeant in 40 years of service, but now thinks he's the "expert" on anything to do with legal issues involving cops. He's as stupid as his head is bald, and at his age, what is he preening about? Where does he hope to go?
