Obama, Huckabee Looking Strong In Iowa
Reports are calling Republican Mike Huckabee and Democrat Barack Obama as leading in the Iowa Caucus. Heavy turnout in some precincts is likely to favor challengers such as Obama and Huckabee and break against establishment front-runners like Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney.
Blogger Shelby Highsmith is actually live streaming video of one caucus at his website here. He's doing it with a laptop, camera and Sprint aircard. Maybe we should do this in February.

the three smartest dems did worst: Biden, Dodd and Richardson. Hillary is also very broad-ranging. While Edwards and Huckabee's speeches are all about one-note homilies, feel-good stuff.
People in Ioway are just not too smart, more into that feel-goody stuff, make me promises you can't keep, as long as I "like" you.
Hillary will win when the smarter people weigh in, she and the more smart types just aren't the biggest draws on the pancake breakfast and strange mushed meat sandwich crowd.
