Some of these awards are right on the money, however, others we can do without. I think some are being really sarcastic and we know which ones they are. Happy New Year Mayor Sam.

The nut of it is , he's an amazing fellow. He'd look good in a Fred Flintstone robe - a natural.

this poll would've been way more interesting if you just had the dumb category for Rocky and Jack Weiss.

here's an award you can consider for next year:

"Best made-up ad-hoc nobody cares about all the superfluous categories poll on a blog."

put yourself on there.
and drop for 10 push-ups.

"Coming to an After Christmas Sale Near You: Pick a Rock(r)ard aka Rocky Delgadillo Legal Defense Fund!"

With hilarious photo of him.

Some latinos can be even harder on their own than others. Also love how they call both Nunez and Romney "anchor babies." That's what Romney gets for trying to fit in with the "other immigrants," like Nunez, Huizar and ARnold. (Or was it Huckabee? He's in enough trouble as an evangelical preacher but you geniuses can guess which Republican white guy is also an Anchor Baby.

Difference is Romney's parents came here legally, THEN had him.

Arnold came by himself, no parents.
(I think he created himself.)

Bugs me when Hispanics say, "We're all the kids of immigrants." Yeah, huge difference between getting in on legal quotas, putting up funds in a bank account to show you're now going to be a ward of the state (required for Europeans moving here even affluent, educated ones), lots of background checks and an English language civics test.

Accent okay, see Arnold.

Is naming Garcetti "Local Politician of the Year" like when Time magazine named Putin "Person of the Year?"

Not that it is a positive thing. Just a factor.

Hahn never found the alligator. It just decided to surface one day. Hahn just exploited the situation, and ignored all the money that was spent to try and find it, and thereby giving her a media op each time and attempt was made.

6:16 pm,

To say that I am responsible for dragging michael hunt into city hall wearing a certain costume -- and using the opportunity to squeeze in a certain "symbolically banned word", is not criticism.

Keep in mind, Michael Hunt is the one who dragged Zuma Dogg into City Hall, not the other way around.

Also consider, I have not been to City Hall during any of the period where any of that was going on.

We all know what you are trying to do. But you have lost your edge.

YOU GOT NADA!

How about if I post on a main thread, "The mayor is responsible for all the illegal residents living in Los Angeles because he drives to Mexico after work each day and sneaks two or three people over the border in his trunk. Then he calls the border patrol a symbolically banned word.

Then when your thug squad calls mayor sam to complain we can tell you that it's criticism.

Sit and spin loser. YOU are the big shot spin hero? I m-m-m-ust b-b-b-e missing something.

that's it bitch...i'm going jay leno on the m-m-mayor. consider it an audition for a non-union writing gig.

so i guess my new years resolution is to start hammering the mayor from a comedy angle, even though everyone on the third floor knows i haven't been going there.

personal life is "in", too. but especially his inability to speak English comfortably in public, and the Bill Clinton Foundation as it relates to charters and the fact that the mayor can't com-com-complete a sentence in English wi-wi-wi-thout...

anyway...no need for leno to hammer villarwhoeverhesbangingthesedays in the monologue.

WHY HAVE I BEEN HOLDING BACK ON MAKING FUN OF THE DOUCHEBAG MAYOR?

I mean being against his school reform or prop s is one thing...

but i may as well go for the whole (illegally vended) en-en-en-chilada.

THANKS FOR THE INSPIRATION 6:16.
(And we'll keep weezy and co in the mix, too.)

Here's one for you, Zuma.

Ever notice how the Mayor of Los Angeles, Hillary Clinton Campaign Co-Chair Antonio Villaraigosa, looks like that little puppet-boy Pinocchio?

(I don't know if there's a punchline. Was just wondering if anyone noticed the mayor looks like Pinocchio?)

Wasn't Pinocchio the little puppet who kept telling lies? In the mayor's case, it's his "Jiminey Cricket" that grows when he tells a lie.

What's this about possible perjury of a Housing Authority Commissioner tying into the City Attorney's office? Does the Captain Jack crew knows about this? Not much has been said, but some people don't have anything better to do. I never forget a face. Especially when they appear not too much later on TV 35 chit-chatting it up with Garcetti and Council. (Ooops, hope THEY didn't know.)

Anyone ever see Barack's wife, Michelle Obama, speak?

Just caught her for the first time on C-Span. She f-ing rocked it! No one has sold, or could have sold him better.

Not only did she sell me on Obama, but she sold me on her.

She looks kinda young/youthful compared to what we are used to seeing as a first lady...but when she opens her mouth, it is obvious she is a better campaigner than any of the candidates on either side, and maybe she should be running herself.

(She's still speaking) O-M-F-G IS SHE GOOD. Take notes, losers.

Oh wait a minute. How the heck did Rocky beat Tom LaBonge. That's impossible. No matter how much you hate Rocky, he's NOT as dumb as LaBonge. No way.

LaBonge has already been voted on the stupidest elected person here. Just because Rocky hadn't had his little "scandal" yet doesn't mean LaBonge got smarter.

Go Tom Go!! Give me a V, give me an I, give me a C.. forget it, we don't want a victory. Maybe a loss cheer? No on S cheer? Yay Tom! Woo Hoo

Making some dumb mistakes shouldn't qualify Rocky to win the category of Dumbest Politician. I thought the category meant who, on any given day, at any given moment, was the dumbest. No one can take that award from Tom LaBonge. Reyes and Hahn are making an effort. Better luck next year.

Rumor is that Michele Delgadillo has been living in the Dakotas with her kids at her parents. So, she is not so dumb and neither is Rocky. They knew enough to get her out of town before she screwed up again.
