EARLIER this month, two years after Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa appointed me as a commissioner on the board of Los Angeles Animal Services, I gave him my resignation.
I had no other recourse than to leave this volunteer position because Jimmy Blackman, the mayor's deputy chief of staff, pressured me to "be quiet" (or else) about serious problems at LAAS and its animal shelters. To preserve my integrity and my pledge to help animals, I proactively chose the "or else" option.

Jimmy Blackman everyone knows is a dick and thinks he's so great and above all because he works for Antonio. Too bad as a man he has not integrity cause he's nothing more then Antonio's servant lapdog running and doing everything. I hate weak ass men. Everyone who works in animal services seems seriously messed up. There's the woman whose Nevada brothel just burned down under suspicious circumstances, who runs the pitfull/ excon training center and whose excon husband was just rearrested for meth.

These animal activists are really weird. The ADL (Animal Defense League) has been marching in front of the homes of not only Ed Boks, but also Robin Kramer and Jimmy Blackman's ex-wife, with loudspeakers too, to insist that Blackman fire Boks. Another group, SHAC (opposing Huntington research lab) marched this month in front of the home of Jimmy Blackman's dad Samuel, "educating" the neighbors and insisting that dad order Jimmy to fire Boks. Rocky's office approved a restraining order this summer that these clowns have been violating.
This type of harassment probably is just making Blackman and the Mayor put their foot down so they don't look intimidated.
Meanwhile, there is a guy who is the "dad" of a dog called Stu who has, he says, been unlawfully incarcerated in one of Bok's shelters for two years now. Why would the city keep and pay to house a dog that has an owner?

Who do you think? It's Riordan and his buddies. The big money people - Eli Broad, Ari Swiller and many more. Villar is just being manipulated by the likes of Riordan via his Chief-Robin Kramer. It's only temporary though. Two years is not that far away. We are wasting too much money undr the current regime - how much money has been wasted with the gang prevention folks. And what is happening to that money for trash collection. Where are the police? Too much developer BS going on and phony baloney.
