Two months of hanging out at malls, Greek parties, and romantic nights at Getty House. That was the life of Mirthala Salinas, who was suspended two months without pay by Telemundo/Universal. With her punishment behind her. Mirthala will be commuting to Riverside, working as a "GENERAL ASSIGNMENT REPORTER" in the Inland Empire Bureau for Telemundo.
Speculation is that Mirthala, with her contract up in December. May skip out on the demotion/reassignment. What options she would have in the visual media world are uncertain.
This can be said for certain. Her "SUMMER FLING AND HOME WRECKING" will hurt her in the pocket book, in the short term. Long term ? The "OTHER WOMAN" in the traditional Latino community are not highly value commodities.

Mirthala will never ever be acceptped in the Latino or other communities. Notice Antonio hasn't been seen at public events with her example Emmy's or ELA parade. People screamed at him and still ask "Where's your girlfriend" She will always been the one who broke up a family and hurt a good woman. She will always be known as the woman who loves to screw politicans. How pathetic at her age for a latina she's never been married or has had kids. Big black mark for a Latina at her age. Most Latinas her age are fat and look old and unattractive. Not defending what she did or who she is, nor judging someone I don't know, but try that sometime. And remember that it's not everyone's goal in life to be a fat housewife. Are you trying to justify your being fat and out of shape by acting superior over it? Does anyone actually doubt, if Mirthala wanted to earn $$$ in the private sector, that Antonio would not help her get this, either directly or indirectly? Remember, when he was "unemployed" after the first mayoral election, both Broad and Burkle put him on retainer for something like $15,000 per month each??
As for their relationship, he helped bring this punishment on her; now he may want to make amends by helping with the next step in her career...
If Mirthala were his age, and more of stepmom- looking material, maybe a mother herself, would that have shut up some of this criticism, at least from the Latinas like the one here who blame her for not having kids?

That goes to the heart of what a horrible woman she is and how much her career mattered more then hurting a good woman and her children. She is now labeled a "groupie" to politicans. If she had any class, morals or ethics she would have given Antonio the ultimatium and told him be a Man if you think I'm worth it and leave your wife or I'm not seeing you. Salinas in the Inland Empire. She's going to have a long commute, isn't she, from her condo in the SFV to Riverside. That's about a 190 mile round trip per day. She's going to get old-looking pretty quick! (Tick, tick, tick, tick... hear that? It's the sound of time passing, and getting older-looking!)
As for Villar, he can't use as much of his budgeted travel expenses to jet around the world with Salinas, and he certainly can't use his travel expense account to visit Salinas if she decides to move closer to her job in Riverside (it lasts only 3 months, Mirthala! You better start working on your resume!).

Mirthala's biggest crime was sleeping with someone as ugly as Padilla, that dude is fat and hard on the eyes. It does make her look like she just wanted to be on any Latino politico's arms. If Antonio is going to gamble the bank on her, he'd better be sure about her motives. The fall break in Inland Empire will be good for both of them -- he can see how he feels after that. He must think it unfair, his deputy Blackman can bang all the girls he wants, but he has to finally watch his reputation. I don't believe he's still carrying on his old ways.
