In Friday's Daily News, Trujillo says he was one of several people to fill the blog's "Chief Parker" role and was involved only briefly. The story calls him an unpaid volunteer on the 2005 Villaraigosa campaign, and says a Reiner spokesman denied knowledge of the blog.

Mayor-elect Antonio Villaraigosa won't live in the Windsor Square home that was donated to the city for use as an official mayor's residence. He will continue living on Mt. Washington. But, Villaraigosa said his family will make frequent use of Getty House and that it will be used for civic gatherings. Jim Hahn (and before him, Richard Riordan) also declined to live there. Tom Bradley has been the only mayor to reside at Getty House, which has fourteen rooms but only two bedrooms.

Dear Chief Parker and Mayor Sam,
I am writing you guys this e-mail to announce my decision to leave Los Angeles and pursue law school in Arizona (my original home). While this blog at times has been the most annoying thing I've ever been a part of, there have been instances of true undeniable fun. Every time I'd make one of your crazies go insane for instance -- or I'd blast some ignorant dum-dum out of the water, all fun times.
I want to also tell Mack Reed and Kevin Roderick that meeting them in person was funny since neither knew who I was when they shook my hand.
Mayor Sam - Chief Parker perhaps we crossed paths at some point I'll never know -- your identity has been a bigger mystery to Angelenos than mine ever was.
Lastly, I'd like to apologize to the following people -- people that this blog crucified for being me, but never were.
So to Ace Smith, Parke Skelton, Ulysses Sanchez, Michael Trujillo, Jaime Sanchez, Jimmy Blackman and Nathan James I apologize. Your names were always popping up as being me, but i never had the guts to actually "out" myself and clear the air for all you guys. For the record, and this will be the last time i ever write this again -- neither of the individuals named above have ever been MEAT.
Again I thank you guys for providing this wonderful site -- this is the last communication I'll ever write to you or your site.

Villaraigosa volunteer advance man Michael Trujillo dug into his pocket recently to keep Hahn supporters hot and thirsty at a Los Angeles Valley College rally on a warm Saturday afternoon.
The event was for Villaraigosa to get an endorsement from Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass.
But, when about 50 chanting Hahn demonstrators showed up, there was a visible angst among the councilman's supporters.
Rather than engage in the group handwringing, Trujillo took action.
Spotting a nearby vendor who was being surrounded by the Hahn supporters, Trujillo paid $300 to buy all the water and soda the vendor had available.
"It was hot out," Trujillo said. "I figured it was better off going to our people."
Hey Chief Parker Kevin Roderick lied when he accused you of threatening journalists. His own blog tells you this. You may have been admonishing staffers who leak, but you didn't threaten any reporters. What a liar!

Antonio denies it also, but hey he's been lying the whole time about Mirthala so do you believe him now? This will definitely hurt his political career. Latinas are pissed at him and the men as well because once again Antonio makes Latinos look like a bunch of desperate, lying, cheating men who have no morals and don't value respect for their family. Even if this story dies down in a week or two it will resurface once Corina's divorce proceedings start and when Telemundo decides what to do with Mirthala. Now, if Antonio continues to stay with Mirthala she's used goods and now has a bad reputation. She'll always be remembered as the woman who broke up a marriage with kids involved. Not good for the mayor. He needs a crisis pr team to over haul his image. Instead of filling potholes in Eagle Rock where he feels safe, he should have gone to the Eastside and painted out all the damn graffitti that makes the community look like shit. If he thought for one second he has support on that side of the city he would have been there. NOT

No matter what you think of the mayor, John & Ken's vilifaction of Sabrina Kay yesterday, based soley on blog comments, was obscene.
Excuse me, but all this dirt is only one indication of the overall corruption afoot. There are, for the city and the state, certainly bigger and more dangerous issues than who Villar and his cronies are screwing.
THIS, however, is just a further indicator of the degenerates that are in office and who are making expensive, dangerous and destructive decisions and back room deals.
It would be lovely of all of the populace were so aware and involved that the corruption would bring them down ... but if it must be this kind of disgusting smarminess, then so be it ... WHATEVER brings ANY of them down IS A GOOD THING! And STOP excusing Villar's and other's personal degradation as "unimportant"!
And I agree - whether there are more people who will bring truth to light or not, I would hate to be a government worker who has to be in close physical proximity to any of these whores ... better be careful whose air you breathe or what surfaces you come in contact with! The graffiti was taken down. It was done during Councliman Pacheco's term. Nick had bought six graffiti removal trucks and Boyile Heights had never looked cleaner. But then Antonio and Parke and their lies and Jewish money came to town, and that is no more. Not even Huizar lifts a finger - or for that matter Fabian. Fabian is speaker of the Assembly, have you seen the freeways in his district - his office has direct jurisdiction and these freeways look like New York subway cars of the 70's.
If you go to sabrinakay.com now, there is only a disclaimer statement from her up, NOT the regular site which I was able to access before ... but NOT yesterday as it was down all day (apparently she has also removed some of the "questionnable" quotes she had up which were posted here yesterday).
IF her disclaimer is true then maybe she has learned a lesson about dealing with corrupt and amoral politicians and business "leaders" ... be careful who you associate with, some of their dirt could rub off on you ... lie down with dogs, get up with fleas .... (no insult to dogs intended)

Pendejos Mayor Sam never said Sabrina. In fact if you go back to the first article he said it was a "developer." Sabrina is not a developer. Someone in City Hall on the fourth floor started this rumor and many of us know that. It is a shame that Channel 9 and other media sources jumped on Sabrina without reading the entire story on Mayor Sam.
Do not forget Captain Jack telling you "Playa Vista." Look there.
Mayor Sam's source was referring to another woman who only happens to be the same nationality as Sabrina. And that source is a current or recent girlfriend of a single member of the Council who also tipped off that it was Mirthala who tipped the media about the relationship.
Mayor Sam, John and Ken and anyone you just keep digging. Do no let the AV spin machine hear is getting help from the Clinton team throw you off as per the strategy they planned during the Mayor's "downtime."

LEHRER: The news of this day is that Kenneth Starr, the independent counsel, is investigating allegations that you suborned perjury by encouraging a 24-year-old woman, a former White House intern, to lie under oath in a civil deposition about her having had an affair with you.
Mr. President, is that true?
CLINTON: That is not true. That is not true.
I did not ask anyone to tell anything other than the truth. There is no improper relationship. And I intend to cooperate with this inquiry. But that is not true.
LEHRER: No improper relationship. Define what you mean by that.
CLINTON: Well, I think you know what it means. It means that there is not a sexual relationship, an improper sexual relationship, or any other kind of improper relationship.

Jordan said he had no reason to doubt Lewinsky's denial of her relationship with Clinton.
News of the scandal first broke on January 17, 1998, on the Drudge Report website, which reported that Newsweek editors were sitting on a story by investigative reporter Michael Isikoff exposing the affair. The story broke in the mainstream press on January 21 when it hit the Washington Post. The story swirled for several days and despite swift denials from Clinton, the clamor for answers from the White House grew louder. On January 26, a visibly flustered President Clinton addressed the public in a White House press conference and issued a forceful denial:

She also turned over a semen-stained blue dress (which Tripp had encouraged her to save without dry cleaning) to the Starr investigators, thereby providing a smoking gun based on DNA evidence that could prove the relationship despite Clinton's official denials.
Clinton admitted in taped grand jury testimony on August 17, 1998, that he had had an "improper physical relationship" with Lewinsky. That evening he gave a nationally televised statement admitting his relationship with Lewinsky which was "not appropriate".[1]

PAUL MOYER: Steve Soborof, president of Playa Vista, a massive real estate development built on flammable gas deposits near Marina del Rey. His company, by its own account, has spent over $600,000 in the past three years on lobbying efforts to persuade the City Council and other city agencies that the site can be made safe.
SOBOROFF: It's time for the city to put this issue to rest because these people live in Play Vista.
MOYER: Has the lobbying paid off? Have city agencies played fair with Playa Vista – or played favorites?
UNIDENTIFIED SCIENTIFIC EXPERT: There have been efforts to whitewash the contamination issues out there.
MOYER: This individual is a scientific expert with a government agency responsible for safety issues at Playa. He says the city, and especially its Department of Building and Safety have shortchanged safety to suit Playa Vista's interests.
UNIDENTIFIED SCIENTIFIC EXPERT: Officials at the Building and Safety Department have been complicit in developing the project before the answers are in, especially in relation to the methane gas.
UNIDENTIFIED CRITIC: I don't believe the community members are aware of the risks they are facing due to the methane gas.
MOYER: This individual, an office worker who's been employed at Playa Vista, says city officials have dismissed reports from eyewitnesses about gas alarms constantly going off at the site.
UNIDENTIFIED PLAYA VISTA WORKER: Requests were made through city agencies to review the situation. We were dismissed and told not to raise concerns again.
MOYER: Both of these sources are speaking out anonymously for fear of retaliation. We'll hear more from them shortly. But first, some background on Playa Vista.
Hiding his enthusiasm, Mayor attends gay pride luncheon, stating again "There are no other women."

This letter is a response to your October 11, 2000, request for formal advice,1regarding the City’s post-City service lobbying restrictions. Our advice is based on the facts provided in your letter.
QUESTION How do the City’s post-City service lobbying restrictions apply to me when I am representing my new employer before City agencies?
RELEVANT FACTS
We have determined that the following facts are relevant to your inquiry:1. You are employed as a Business Development Representative with the Office of the Mayor, Los Angeles Business Team. Your duties relate to attracting, retaining and expanding business in the Hollywood, Koreatown, Harbor Gateway, and SanPedro areas.2. You have been a member of the Mayor’s staff and a “designated” City official (rather than a “high level” official) within the meaning of the Governmental Ethics Ordinance (LAMC § 49.5.1 et seq.) since 1993.3. Currently, you are seeking employment with Playa Vista Development as Vice President for Community Affairs. As such, your duties would include media and public relations, community outreach, and assistance with “development issues relative to permits involving City Departments.”1Los Angeles Admin. Code §24.1.1(f)(2)(K) provides that formal written advice provides the requestor with immunity set forth in Los Angeles City Charter §705. This formal advice does not address or apply to any past actions by the requestor(s).

During your tenure with the City, you have never worked on any matter related to Playa Vista Development.ANALYSIS AND CONCLUSIONTo prevent former City officials from exercising, or appearing to exercise, improper influence over City decision-making, City law establishes certain restrictions that limit their attempts to influence City decisions after they leave City service if they are compensated for these activities. These restrictions would apply to you because you are a designated City official subject to the Governmental Ethics Ordinance.The Governmental Ethics Ordinance contains a one year post-City service restriction that applies to individuals who were "City officials" within the meaning of the Ordinance during their City tenure. A "City official" is someone who is required to file financial disclosure forms (State Form 700), known as "Statements of Economic Interests." (LAMC § 49.5.2). Since you would be paid to represent the interests of Playa Vista Development before various City of Los Angeles agencies, this restriction will apply to you after you leave City service. As a City official, for one year following the date you leave your position, you will be prohibited from directly communicating with the Office of the Mayor on behalf of your new employer for the purpose of attempting to influence action on any matter involving your new employer that is pending before that agency. However, while you may not personally communicate with the Mayor’s office regarding these matters, you may assist and advise others to make such communications. (LAMC § 49.5.11 D). Please keep in mind that the restriction applies in both business and social settings. If you attend a social function as a representative of your new employer, any attempt to influence the Mayor’s staff in those settings are subject to the City's post-service lobbying restrictions, just as are communications in any other setting.In addition, all City officials, appointees and employees who leave City service are prohibited from attempting to influence, for compensation, any action on matters in which they "personally and substantially" participated during their City service so long as those matters are still pending with any City agency. (L.A.M.C. §. 49.5.11 A). According to the facts you provided, you have never had any involvement with a matter involving Playa Vista Development during your employment with the City of Los Angeles. Therefore, the law does not prohibit you from contacting any City department, other than the Office of the Mayor during the one year “cooling off” period discussed above, on matters related to Playa Vista Development. Finally, City law prohibits City officials from making, participating in making or using their official position to influence a decision involving the interests of a person with whom they have an agreement concerning future employment. (LAMC § 49.5.12 D).

Most college students consider themselves lucky to handle part-time jobs while struggling through term papers and final exams, but Tina Choi had more on her mind than that.
Choi, who immigrated to the United States from South Korea with her parents when she was six years old, had always been conscious of the sometimes difficult relations in Los Angeles. The 1992 riots set off incredible tension throughout the city which captivated the country, and Choi flew back from UC Berkeley in order to help put together a race relations panel for the Oprah Winfrey Show in order to strengthen communications between the African American and Korean American communities.
Once she was finished with school, Choi retuned home to Los Angeles for good, continuing to work for civic improvements in the mayor's office. As an advocate for the city, Choi worked to attract the attention of commercial and trade delegation groups visiting from across the world. She finished her time in the mayor's office as an economic development deputy, working on the Harbor Gateway project and helping to convert some former military property into commercial and industrial businesses.
After her time in the public sector, she worked for Playa Vista and recently she started her own business. Her clients are developers that have designs for Los Angeles but need help navigating through the city's approval process.
"I've been doing community mediating for a long time, so development strategy just seemed like a natural segue for me," Choi said. "I've done public service and I served in an executive capacity for Playa Vista…but I never had the opportunity to try running my own business."
Many of Choi's clients are working on build-to-suit condominium projects - she's also worked with architect and designer Philippe Starck, hotel development companies, and several South Korean businesses interested in investing in the United States. She also saves some time to continue working in the public sector, serving as a commissioner on the South Valley Planning Commission at the urging of Councilwoman Wendy Greuel and Controller Laura Chick.
"It was very important for them to have not only minority representation but gender representation, which was sorely lacking," Choi said.

Gil Cedillo is one of those childhood friends, he knows. In fact, he was one of the friends that Tony recruited to claim they threw a train on this girl when the girl's father brought a paternity suit against Tony. The father used to have a business on Olvera Street. He was so distraught over the matter that he gave up his business and moved his family out of town. You won't find any court records and if they exist they couldn't be used because Tony was a minor then. But this is a well known story from Tony's chlldhood, I'm sure tony Castro has details on this as well.

Is Antonio's father an alcoholic? He went on to have a 50+ year marriage and raised four college educated kids - not very stereotypical of an alcoholic. Yet Antonio' s mom passed away from a liver ailment before she reached 65, who was the alcoholic? Maybe those fights Antonio saw were his mom going off on the dad. Maybe the dad had reason to leave.
All this alcoholic stuff was drummed up to fit Parke Skelton's campaign theme. The first piece in every Antonio campaign started with the phrase: "My father was an alcoholic." Before reading the rest of the brochure, Parke could rack up 60% of the vote.
So Antonio said in 1999 that without affirmative action he would be stealing our hubcaps. So the caption for the picture should be "I'm the poster child for affirmative action".
