Mayor Sam's Hotsheet for Monday
Earlier this year Richard Alarcon and Tony Cardenas chased the San Fernando Valley Fair to friendlier territory in Santa Clarita and it had the affect of increasing attendance. The Fair's board of directors is willing to consider coming back to the Valley however in an effort to make the fair self supporting and not needing state subsidies, they don't want to meet in an inconvienent location like Hansen Dam. That doesn't stop the brilliant Clowncilman from the North Valley; he wants to seek state help to have a new San Fernando Valley, you guessed it, Hansen Dam.Behind the efforts to recall City Councilman Jack Weiss are constituents' anger over development issues in his district and his apparent disdain for citizens and his colleagues. However, as noted by Marc Haefele, recall supporters have a tough row to hoe. The last recall effort that actually made the ballot was a 1984 effort to remove controversial CD 14 Councilman Art Snyder which failed miserably at the polls. However, something Haefele didn't note is the tools available to recall supporters that did not exist in 1984 such as the internet, blogs, etc. Stay tuned.
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg says he is not running for President but he's making a trip to New Hampshire and planning appearances with Mayor Villaraigosa and Governor Schwarzenegger in California.

Zuma I hope you go after Laura Chick N Shit for this one. MIllions not collected and she passes the buck. Why the hell isn't she doing her damn job?
There is deep corruption with the gang prevention/intervention programs. Yet, Laura Chick N Shit refuses to audit saying she needs money. Funny how she didn't need the money to go after other city depts. Why is she failing to disclose and investigate how many of the gang programs have given political donations to city council members and the Mayor? Why aren't any LA reporters going after this story?
This is what she said to the media.
....Write-off: L.A. City Controller Laura Chick reports that $98 million owed to the city has been written off as uncollectible because of a lack of billing or follow-up on delinquent payments. "We really had hoped the honor system would work," an anonymous person in accounts receivable said, "but shockingly, it seems that people who don't pay their bills, aren't paying their bills. Certainly, no one could have foreseen that."
Cynthia Ruiz is getting over $100,000 for being commissioner on Public Works. I didn't know another commissioner could be paid the same amount but I guess if you a councilman a favor by hiring his brother you can get paid.
From Steve Hymon column. Then the City Council approved Ernesto Cardenas, brother of Councilman Tony Cardenas, for a $115,000-per-year job as a Board of Public Works commissioner last week, how many council members asked Ernesto if his brother had cut a deal to get him a job?

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen (removes hat and bows low):
Sots, did you have a good Father's Day? I had a chance to spend it with my own Father who came to the States for a little bit of rest and relaxation. Last night I slipped a few steaks on the grille and invited a friend of mine who works for LAUSD over to join us for supper. Guess what we talked about? We didn't talk about Villabarbosa. No, we talked about something else.
For example, everyone knows that there is an approximate 2.8 billion dollar short fall (give or take a billion) in the funds that have already been committed to fund existing and future school construction projects? And part of that whole process included a lot of scoping meetings with the community.
Now my friend (who is about to retire) tells me that because of such a horrific shortfall of cash, almost all of the projects in the hopper, as well as those that are about to be put in to the hopper, if you will, will shortly be "de-scoped."
Now how in blue blazes do you de-scope something? Is it like trying to put the toothpaste back in the tube? Or is it more like trying to put the spoo back in the bull after the bull got loose and ran amok among the heifers, savvy? Bloody hell, will SOMEBODY TIE THAT BLOODY BULL UP? (grins sheepishly) Sorry 'bout that, that's what Mrs. V's divorce lawyers are for, savvy?
As for getting paid a handsome commission for being on a commission, I suspect it depends upon the type of lip service offered. Such is a terrible thing for us thin-lipped lads.
Lets face it TONY CARDENAS is an idiot who tried being successful in Real Estate before being an elected TIC. The dumb ass filed for bankruptcy because he has no brains.
Know the Cardenas Gang relies on Taxpayer money to make a living since they are bunch of failed business loosers. Just ask that fat sister of his at TIA Chuchas a reject in Sylmar.
Richard AlarCon is another blood sucking TIC. He used his ex wife when she had her failed insurance agency in Mission Hills. AlarCon was a Mr. MOM stay at home wuzz and lived off Corina.
Know he too is a looser who lives of the taxpayers.
Cardenas and AlarCon must of been seperated at birth and reunited by that FAT COW James Acevedo.
