Finally, the turtleneck guy is just one heartbeat away from being in charge. . . of an organization that means nothing to 99 percent of NC board members (and NCs mean nothing to 98 percent of L.A. residents).
Well deserved obscurity...

Brady Westwater?? Alas, it is official. The NC is a total joke.
Isn't it rich?
Isn't it queer?
Losing all sanity
at this time of the year.
Kick out the clowns.

You guys can all laugh, but the NC's screw up the development process in Los Angeles even more than it already is.
Anyone wanting to do anything now has to start with these Yoho's and then go to the next level. By and large, most are nothing but a bunch of amateurs who follow the rule of NIMBY.
Therefore, nothing much will get built in LA and guess who loses???
Why, the folks who need jobs in the construction industry, that's who. And guess where most of them live?
CD 12, that's where.
Los Angeles is condemning itself to instant slum and you guys have the effrontery to call them "Senators".
Now they elect a guy from Malibu, the home of BANANA.
Gawd, I love LA.

Alger, Always a bridesmaid never a bride.

Hey, wait a minute. Rumors are floating around about Brady Westwater.
Where does he live? Well, in Malibu then downtown then Pasadena then downtown, where he claims to live with girlfriends.
I think I know what he means, girlfriend.

Rumors probably stated by Alger. That is how he works.
Jim Alger said:
I believe the word your LAUSD educated brain is searching for is "started".
I don't start rumors. I stand behind my words with my name.
Brady Westwater is a friend of mine and has been for several years. H didn't get my respect, he earned it by attending countless meetings at my side and many more that I could not attend.
Brady and myself are 100% on the same page as far as where we want the NC system to go and how to get there.
Rumors are just that, rumors. They do not take away from the service he has provided the City of Los Angeles.
Make no mistake, I view Brady as a comrade - an attack on him is an attack on myself, and the entire Senate. If someone wishes to question our leadership, or our policies that is fair, but these relentless personal attacks do not serve the public discourse whatsoever.
Which of course was the entire point of your comments.

Gee, from Alger's post one would never guess he and Westwater fight like a cat and dog with each other---and with everyone else on the NC.
Jim Alger and Brady Westwater: one cute couple! First they are senators then they are comrades and now.......
Hmmmmmm...........

OK there goes that LAUSD brain again. Plural... DOGS. Now on to your post...
Fight like cats and dogs? I honestly am not even sure I have had any real disagreements with Brady.
Seriously, do YOU even believe what you type?
Anonymous said:
The saying is "Fight like cats and dogs" you fucking moron.
Trying to pit Brady and Jim against each other isn't going to work. They are actually good friends.
Now go play on the freeway

The question will now be publicly answered, do Brady or Jim have leadership qualities that can stand the light of day to day examination. Good luck N.C.'s.

I don't give a rat's ass what the cliche is. I chose to use cat and dog and it is grammatically correct.
You can conform and live in a world of set cliches, 2:28. I'll stick with correct grammar.
Now go march with Alger and Westwater and the rest of the clones of the NC.
Don't forget your boxing gloves and face mask, sucker.

Just what percentage of the vote did Alger receive? How close did he come to victory?
....and why didn't he lose some weight before the campaign began???

Go to Alger's campaign website and check his list of endorsements. He included everybody and everything he could think of, including his two goldfish.
But what? What is missing? Yes, Brady Westwater's name is not there, despite the fact that other names listed are people and fish not living in Alger's district.
Amazing! Alger claims to be Brady's "comrade" but why in the world would a comrade not march along his brother in an election?
And why did two "comrades" end up running against each other in the NC election?
Finally, why did L.A.'s Stonewall Democratic Club endorse Algers opponent? Here's the answer: the club decided that Alger is homophobic and they decided to work to defeat him.
It worked. He only lost by a couple of hundred votes, so Alger's homophobia caused his crash.
Alger--always a bridesmaid, never a bride!

It's amazing how tough people talk on a blog where no one knows their name!
You know what they say,
"talks tough on a blog, squeals like a pig in bed!"
Anonymous said:
Considering Alger is straight, not sure he would ever be a "bride."
First you idiots attacked him for supporting same sex marriage, now you attack him as a homophobe. Jesus what is wrong with you people?
I volunteered on his campaign and the reason he didn't go for the Stonewall Dems endorsement was because it was obviously in Shaws camp and after Casey's BS after DPSFV and Young Dems it wasn't worth us sending Jim there. That is right, he DIDN'T SEEK their endorsement Casey. Not because he is homophobic, he is far from it.
He either received or blocked every other major endorsement except Labor which was a no-brainer given Shaw's' husband is a union boss.
As for attacks, give it a rest. The Shaw folks attacked his family, called his wife a whore and created every lie they could about Alger... and for some reason you fools are still at it. Jim never once attacked Shaw, but Shaw's husband attacked Jim. You didn't see Jim's family coming after Shaw so shut the fuck up already.
God you guys are the sorest winners I have ever seen.

By the way, Algers campaign website has been off for over a month now. You fuckers must be bored.
