what part of "it does not belong to you" don't they understand? Funny. Where was Darryl Hannah? Probably at home eating grapes and other fruits from Trader Joe's.
Horwitz should have just paid 38th St., or 18th St. cholos to guard his land. The Mechistas would have left i'm sure.
Horowitz changed the deal on Antonio three times.
He should die and be buried there and let the farmers piss on his grave to fertilze the soil for the next froup of farmers to seize the property.
Read Daniel Hernandez story on these South LA Farmers and Horwitz. Horwitz says he was never offered money like the farmers claim. The farmers were exploited by outsiders and now they continue to break the law. I can't beleive they still go to city council and go off on them. People are tired of their tirades and now they are embarrassing themselves looking like ungrateful idiots. They should thank Horwitz for allowing them to use the land while paying them morgate on it. Just like the illegals they are demanding something that is not rightfully theres.
That's a lie. Horowitz was offered the money. The farmers raised it and the Annenberg Foundation was picking up the rest.
Horowitz is just a mean ass, greedy, awful freaking DEVELOPER (who ruin all of L.A.) who got a sweet, sweet deal from the city.
Has anyone actually seen that place? I drove down there a few weeks ago and I was shocked!!!
Squatter's Paradise!!!!
It was the biggest eyesore I ever saw. It looked just like the backyards of the barrios...only bigger. Clothes lines, pup tents, tents; weeds....nothing was manicured or well tended. Nothing but a bunch of cactus & lots of corn. And these tacky vendors sitting on the sidewalk in front...selling junk!!!
Some people, i.e. Darryl Hannah & Co. will do anything for publicity!
