Dept. of Neighborhood Empowerment sent this out.
Preparing this event (budget mtgs)was draining on us. Remember that the Mayor's office staff is new, and we've been through this a couple of times. The Mayor's budget director is new, has never been in charge of a city budget, and has a staff of ..... count 'em .... one person. As a result many requests and concerns from Neighborhood Councils could not be attended to properly.
Mayor Sam why do you make your posts so damn long? You should definitely shorten them.
Found out that City Council is in Recess all week. I'm shocked that as city employees they get Rosh Hashana off and then the rest of the week because of some Calif. League.....This is B.S. How many days do they get off throughout the year? Does anyone know?
If Dept of N. E. sent this piece of message, that shows incompetence at the city level. I would hate to be a mayor's staff and have important groups to the community call on lack of experience.
I agree, Mayor Sam will you shorten the posts topics? Short and too the point is best.
City council in recess all week? Someone call the the cops and get those members back from the ditching parties.
Yeltsin did the world a big favor, kudos for him.
