Jerking Off Cardenas Style

I know many of you are itching to race home and jack-off to Roderick's little puff piece, (at least I'm guessing that's where Kevin's been all day), but for those of you who like the real thing, you better get there sooner rather than later.

We'd be remiss to just completely "blow-off' the story from yesterday of Tony Cardenas reviving the twice killed ordinance of touching strippers. I'm guessing it's been a while since Cardenas got some anyways, so I understand his take on the issue, but if I'm not mistaken this didn't go over well the last two times it was tried.

Maybe by "stretching" the issue out a bit and "pulling" on a few more shirt strings, he can get the "face-off" he is yearning for and see to it that this "proposition" "gets off on" the ballot, causing all of the "pols" in LA to "stand up" and be accounted for. Hey, maybe Sherry will "jump on" as well.

Sounds like fun. Besides, I can go "on and on and on" all night long with posts like this!

So Mr. Cardenas IS alive. He's been MIA for a while now. With those ethics violations happening around him, he should be in hiding, or exile for that matter.

Doesn't his district have the highest # of landfills (active/inactive) West of Chicago? why's he worrying about strip clubs. re-born again nut.

The only person Cardenas jerks off is Alex Padilla and James Acevedo.

Mayor Sam, Have you seen this article in the Daily Breeze?

http://www.dailybreeze.com/opinion/articles/1683522.html

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa: Mexican and American
New leader belongs to a hypenated group and is comfortable on both sides of the hyphen.
By Ruben Navarrette Jr.

During his recent inauguration, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa offered a vision of where he wants to lead America's second-largest city.

For those who listened closely, he also offered something else: a brief tutorial on what it means to be a Mexican-American. It's about being an integrated part of both countries, and yet, in a way, remaining apart from each country.

It's the second portion that worries the constituency of Americans who complain that Mexican immigrants and their children are stubbornly holding onto their ethnic identity and refusing to blend in. Sometimes the issue is no more complicated than how people choose to identify themselves. "I find the term Hispanic and Latino -- as I do all hyphenated nationality subset labels -- offensive," one reader wrote me. "People who have come to America, to become Americans, should be proud to be called Americans." Or the one who admonished me: "You are not a 'U.S.-born Latino' and describing yourself that way is the major problem with this country. My friend, you are simply an American, period. We are all Americans, not hyphenated Americans. Learn it and live it."

Let's take it further and mandate a distance with ALL clubs. When you think about it, the physical contact that goes on at dance clubs leads people into promiscuous behavior leading to sexually transmitted diseases, including hiv - making it a public health issue.

Ban all physical contact! Cover up our women (that leads to impure thoughts)! Elect the "sprititually-minded officials who will uphold the social order.

Didn't the US just overthrow a regime that did all this?

Cardenas, six months ago: "LA isn't ready for a Latino Mayor."

What a dumbass. What he lacks in character he makes up in stupidity.

Yet another example of why LA is not a singles friendly city. At least in the mind of the politicians. Everything is family this, family that. Someone should sue that the rights of singles are overlooked with all these "family" programs. And I have three kids, so shut up. In my 20s, it was a God given right to go to a strip club. Young folks now more than ever need to have fun. Why is it that these very liberal politicians - especially Latinos - want to ban sex and alcohol? Aren't they supposed to be liberals and not born agains?

Fuck Cardenas!

What was that book about the government that implemented a Catholic, Socialist, puritanical, totalatarian regime in which individual liberties were taken away? Oh, that was the book about Hitler.

Is Tony becoming a nazi?

TONY IS NOT A LIBERAL. I don't know why you would ever think that, he might be a DEM but he's definately not a liberal. As a matter of fact, he's a reborn again Christian.

FYI--Tony has always been a nazi. Somebody needs to unseat him.

Cardenas is going to stay put. Nobody is going to want to spend a ton of money when they can just wait his holier-than-though ass out.

Then there will be a fight between Yolanda Fuentes and NioƱo Jose to replace him on Council.

Felipe is going to have to make a decision soon as to whether he runs to replace Alex or follows him as Chief to the Senate. I would probably have him either run to replace Alex in a special or run for Assembly after Alarcon finishes his 6 years.

Or, maybe now that he has an MBA, he can finally make some money and lobby for both City and State clients.

-Gov. Pico

P.S. In any case, I'm sad to say that James 'Bigoton' Acevedo will remain in the picture regardless of who runs or wins in the NE Valley.

For pete's sake, you people who talk about morals need to stop using religion as a crutch, and look inward and find some type of real identity. Telling people what to do or feel is getting old, and your ship is about to sink. Therefore, please take my advise, and go spend $20 to get a lap dance at the nearest strip club.

As for Cardenas, live a little, buddy!

This makes me so annoyed with Tony. I'm still trying to figure out why the fuck our city councilmembers get involved in these personal issues.

I wish the city would revolt and fight this. It should be the lowest thing on their agenda in this time of change in the city. How many times do we have to say it's okay before they stop trying.

They should take their Puritan ideas and bag them. They won't get votes on this issue. The old population who worries about this nonsense is dying off.

Many wives get a kick out of taking our husbands to strip clubs. Why should the likes of Cardenas deny us this?

I think I'll go look up 10 issues in his district that are vitally important which are being ignored so he can fight lap dances.

I suggest the staffer/friend/colleague who is giving "Father Tony" the advice should stop right now so that he can still redeem himself.

Tony should try and get more police officers then waste our tax payer dollars on this crap. Didn't Cindy try this last year and got made fun of nationwide? City Council is made up of a bunch of morons who have nothing better to do then pat themselves on the back with presentations, waste time on NON-ISSUES, and sometimes not even think it important enough to show up in chambers. Agreed poster than there should be a revolt on them.
