Hi Mayor Frankie. How are things back in Los Angeles? Even though I am on vacation in Maui partaking in a national bridge tourney, my cell phone has been ringing off the hook with news nuttier than a pecan pie!
First, I am hearing that Jack Weiss struck a deal with Alex Padilla to become chair of the public safety committee. This shocked the bejeasus out of me since I thought Smith was a shoe-in. Remembering that I am dead, and my hearing ‘ain't what it used to be, it seems that some in city hall are none to happy about this, especially Smith, who will now chair the ad hoc committee on "“back stabbing reform."” One has to wonder if future endorsements were part of this deal.
My next voicemail said something about the possibility of former Miscikowski staffer Adena Tessler becoming MAV'’s Deputy Mayor of Public Safety. Tessler, who is currently being housed in Bitter Bernie land, is a fave of the LAPD --– especially Bratton who presented her with a special plaque during a recent council session to honor her work.
Finally before I head back to the beach, I wanted to let you know about some changes in the airport commission. Actually I am hearing that former LAX Executive Director Lydia Kennard (who was appointed by Riordan) might be making a comeback along with the other Riordan ex'’s that have joined the MAV team. My source was very excited about this possibility since Kennard has an outstanding reputation.
My time at this internet cafe is about to expire, but I thought I would check in at least once before I return to Los Angeles next week. Please feel free to post this on Mayor Sam. Oh, and please tell the Mr. that I send my best and that I will send him a postcard!

Adena as deputy mayor? Hmmm wonder what she did for THAT position...
WE ALL KNOW WHAT SHE DID FOR THAT JOB!!!! Adena has the worst reputation in the big house. I don't think she's qualified enough for Deputy Mayor of Public Safety but I will say according to many many many LAPD personnel she is qualified and talented in other areas outside a job description. She is not well liked among the other staffers of council personnel. It astonishes me the way she dresses (sleazy) and behaves around men in general. She needs to tone it down. But good luck to her.
Adena is fantastic. She is bright, creative, substantive, focused, and not caught up in politics or personalities. She is one of the best staffers in City Hall and is very well-liked by her colleagues. MAV would do well to hire her.
Please we all know about Adena and how she's moved up the ranks at city hall with men. She needs to talk to Dr. Phil about that daddy syndrome. Again shows what an idiot Antonio is and how he has no clue.

Getting a job over someone else doesn't make you a slut, but I believe that sleeping with married men would qualify you for that moniker. Anyone who works in the building knows it, so those who beg to differ need to get a grip.
I've also heard from several credible sources in regards to her "talents." She talks a good game, but when it comes down to the deed, she's got no game...colder than a fish which would explain why she's still single. But she can keep making married men at City Hall feel good, so she can continue to be employed.
I can personally attest to that, Adena's got NO GAME. The sad part is that she can't say focused on you long enough. If someone comes along with any remotely perceived power, she's all over it.
If you think this is BS, consider this...she screwed Dwayne Hall. That should speak for itself.
