Pitchforks and Broken Promises

PitchforkFresh off copping an endorsment from county seal crusader David Hernandez, hizzoner James Kenneth Hahn, has already bailed on them - cancelling on some county seal event he was supposed to go to.

Nonetheless, David is rallying the troops, pitchforks and all to stage a counter protest of John Kerry and Tony Villar at Valley College this weekend.

I will be in a southwestern state, so will have to miss the fun. Sounds like it could get ugly.

Bailed on them? ADV's middle NAME is "bailed" on his constituents...

Get ugly? Nothing could be uglier than stiffing 300K constituents of their hopes and dreams for TWO WHOLE years, like ADv did, while you treat 1/15th of the city like your personal career "waiting room."

Let the Doublemint Twins of Flip-Floppery enjoy their second in the sun. The WHOLE city's starting to watch now, down the final stretch. ADV is the shorter of the two candidates for ONE reason only... HE HAS NO LEGS!

How could ANYBODY stage an anti-ADV rally, or protest. He's LOVED universally... he has an 81 PERCENT APPROVAL RATING in his own district!

HA!

I'm not sure why Riordan resigned but may be over an incident that happened a few months ago on a tour he was having as Secretary of Education where he told a little girl that her name meant stupid and ugly.

ADV (Mr. Empty Suit) should donate all of his campaign money to a worthwhile cause. His cause is hopeless, Mr. Vignali will get upset if you have the media bringing up his name. This time he will invite you out to dinner and shower you with demands. Was it worth it ADV to accept money from your friend Vignali & Son who is a major Los Angeles drug dealer with connections to Florida? Was it worth it to take all that money for a letter disregarding all ethics? Was it worth it to help Richard Meruelo to practically steal the school property under LAUSD's own watch. How could you go to the elem. school and look at the children and know your so corrupted you stole from them. Your so corrupted, you pushed for Vignali to get pardoned from jail sentence and keep pushing drugs in the streets that we live on. I heard you also have a problem of some sort with illegal substances, is that also your connection on Figueroa?

Hey ADV,

Riordan resigned, what did you promise him? Or is he just tired of being linked to a low life like you that pushes for convicted criminals to be released while all of the African American co defendants are still rotting in jail. What type of coalition is that? Your republican base (Riordan & Riordan) is crumbling. They all go down ADV....

From Gannett:

Riordan Quits as California Secretary for Education

California Secretary for Education Richard Riordan has tendered his resignation and indicated that he will return to Los Angeles.

It was revealed today that Riordan submitted his resignation to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger last month, but agreed to continue serving in the education post until a replacement could be found.

In making his departure, Riordan spoke glowingly of his experiences as a member of the governor's cabinet. "It has been a privilege to serve under the leadership of my friend and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger," he said. "I look forward to working with him throughout his time as Governor."

Riordan was named Secretary for Education last November. In the position, Riordan was charged with advising the governor on educational matters and analyzing legislation pertaining to education.

The 73-year-old Riordan is a friend and neighbor of Schwarzenegger, and campaigned for the film star during the recall election.

He was chosen for the job in part because of his efforts to reform the Los Angeles Unified School District when he was mayor of Los Angeles. Prior to taking the cabinet post, Riordan also headed up a 24-member panel that advised Schwarzenegger on ways to improve education in the state.

LAST MONTH, just about the time he endorsed ADV.

He's 73, so maybe just tired and ready to cruise, OR, Tony may have promised him JOSE HUIZAR'S school board seat.

Ha!

PLEASE make it John Kerry that's endorsing ADV -- that will be the FINAL nail in ADV's SECOND coffin.

Maybe this time he'll STAY dead as far as citywide races are concerned.

I told you guys, the Vignali case implicates too many people. Vignali is a criminal drug dealer and Villaraigosa is his local connection. Why do these people in Florida have no idea their names were on the contribution list? Vignali has alot of local politicians in a nervous wreck, especially Villaraigosa. Villaraigosa accepted money for his part in the pardon, Hugh Rodham, Clintons, and many many more, its messy, it's ugly... who supplies Roger clinton with drugs...go look at court documents.

If it's John Kerry endorsing ADV, I agree, that will be the FINALE to this neverending campaign. John Kerry is not liked by Republicans!

Just looking at KABC TV News. Now I know why Hahn doesn't need as much money as Tony and why he isn't on TV yet. Channel 62 is doing him the favor. The Spanish language staton just came out with a billboard that says Welcome to Los Angeles, Mexico - it actually has CA crossed out and there is a monument from Mexico City super imposed on the L.A. skyline. 75 of these billboards are going up all over the city. I can see Tony and Parke squirming right now. As if the right wingers in this city didn't need any more incentives to vote for Hahn. So go ahead and raise your money Tony, it seems that Hahn has more resources than you think.

Most of it is dirty money, who wants money from criminals?

Antonio Villaraigosa.

He will even pick it up in person, you live in Florida, no problem. You live in Washington, no problem. You live in ....does not matter as long as you are Latino, I will make sure you get a piece of the pie at the Mayor's office, and your illegal, that's even better, you sell drugs, Wow, that is great.

....James Hahn is throwing at Villargairosa is based on facts.Without exception, all of these "politicos" are members of the corrupt Democratic Party. The "Pardons for Sale" scandal
This scandal has angered two large blocks of voters in Los Angeles. The first is the L.A. Black community. The Black community is asking why the thirty Black youths that were imprisoned along with Carlos Vignali were not released as well. In fact, Carlos Vignali was the principal culprit in the crime. He was the one that provided the money necessary for the crack cocaine operation and was one of the main leaders.

More on VIGNALI:

Ron Martinez, Gloria's husband and Tony's best man at his sham wedding, was very opposed to Tony running for mayor. Kind of odd that his buddy would not want him to run. Well, now we know the reason. Ron, or ENRon, introduced Vignali to Tony. This is how the ball started rolling for Vignali. Looking over property records, it turns out Martinez and Gloria purchased a beach front house in Ventura right about this time. This is funny since Ron's business, PeopleWorks, had just gone under. Then Gloria is deeded an apartment complex in El Monte - now we know why she was against that WalMart out of her district. The person signing over those apartments, Gloria's father who probably never made over $20K a year in his whole life. Where did this money come from? Is it coincidence that this all happened at the same time Vignali was dishing out cash to politicians like candy. Is this the reason Ron didn't want Tony to run because he new that with just a little investigation, he and his wife would also be implicated. I wonder if Tony has been over to Ron and Gloria's house for dinner lately. BTW, a Times reporter fed me all this information.

DON'T broadbrush drivetime talk radio as just conservative -- its ALL points of view EXCEPT far left.

This is the city that drives -- people live on top of four wheels (or more). AS much time as a majority of voters sit in front of TV in a day.

Dismiss if you like. In Ecuador, talk radio toppled a government this month.

Beware the wrath of a rejected woman...

It takes a lot of emotion to hate as much as you folks do.

I empathize with you and hope it won't be too disappointing when you find out you have worked for a cardboard figure named Hahn.

Pobrecitos!

Emotion has nothing to do with trying to warn a bunch of lovesick future "one-night-stands" that they're about to get infected with the political "VD" that is ADV.

It's just good business not to spread CD14 misery around to the whole city, when it's possible to ship it off the Sacramento (or beyond) in a couple years.
