Hahn attacks, IATSE endorses

Today is Good Friday.

Because today is Good Friday Jim Hahn attacked Antonio Villaraigosa. Hahn attacked Villaraigosa for telling valley voters one thing and South LA voters another -- not during this campaign, but in 2001.

Since Jim Hahn's office doesn't e-mail us, although all are welcome too (chiefwilliamparker@hotmail.com) we can only paraphrase what the attack was. Essentially Hahn's folks had footage of Antonio telling South LA voters he'd support Parks, and Valley Voters he'd reevaluate him.

The Hahn campaign never released the entire clip, just the snippets they wanted the media to see. Most media outlets covered this race in 2001 and know that Antonio gave very nuanced detailed answer regarding this issue throughout the campaign, if the Hahn campaign had released the entire transcript you'd note that in fact Antonio Villaraigosa was consistent in every answer.

Chief Parker remembers Hahn telling voters he'd keep Parks, he'd tell them till he was blue in the face, Hahn did not keep is word. Hahn flipped, then flopped.

Last night channel 9 called the Antonio campaign "Rolling Thunder" and commented on the endorsements coming in waves, well another wave crashed today.

IATSE is a member of the county-fed, the county-fed endorsed Hahn. Today IATSE broke away from the county-fed to endorse Antonio Villaraigosa.

So in 2 days Antonio gets the endorsement of a prominent south Los Angeles elected official and an organization that represents valley voters.

The most ironic part of the endorsement is, didn't Hahn come out with a plan against run-away production and it was written to appease IATSE members? I suppose when you have an administration as corrupt as Hahn's and a campaign that can't even get endorsements right why would anyone with a brain help or vote for Jim Hahn?

Questions that boggle the mind.

In answer to Parker's question (doesn't deserve to be called "chief" anymore): "why would anyone with a brain help or vote for Jim Hahn?"

Why would anyone a brain OR a memory vote for ADV? He is a pathological liar and can't be trusted to do anything he promises.

The "no-brainer" here is simple: don't elect a habitual liar and expect him to suddenly start telling you the truth. Don't let your vitriolic distaste for the incumbent -- flawed though he may be, drive you into the camp of the least trustworthy of the two. Liars keep lying, even after they're caught. They can't help themselves, and they certainly can't help the city.

[Geez, you'd think Hahn fired Chief Park(er), not Chief Park(s). Uh, oh... may be onto to something there!?]

Actually Chief...

This Erin Park story moved across the wire.

Mayor Jim Hahn today accused his challenger of pandering to different communities during the 2001 mayoral race over whether to remove then-LAPD Chief Bernard Parks - a move that cost Hahn politcally.

Antonio Villaraigosa "says different things to different crowds depending on how he thinks he's going to be received," Hahn said during a news conference at his campaign headquarters. "This is a guy that you can't trust."

Hahn's campaign supplied newspaper articles from the 2001 campaign that supported his claims.

According to a story that appeared that year in the Los Angeles Times, Villaraigosa, now a councilman, told voters in Granada Hills that he didn't think Parks was the "right person for the job."

Two months later, he told voters in the Crenshaw District that he was "committed to working with Chief Parks," according to another Times story.

Asked yeserday if he gave differing views on Parks, Villaraigosa responded: "Absolutely not."

"Bernie Parks will tell you that nothing could be further from the truth," he said. "Jim Hahn is just engaging in the same sour grapes and finger-pointing that you've seen him do day-in-and-day-out for the last four years."

THEY HAVE ANTONIO ON TAPE SAYING "PARKS IS NOT THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB" IN 2001. Then in Crenshaw they have him on tape saying differently. TODAY THEY ASK ANTONIO AND SAID HE CAN'T RECALL. This is what Antonio is all about. He squirms when faced with the truth. Thank you Hahn for getting rid of a corrupt police chief like Parks. He promoted his buddies knowing they were all corrupt. One DP was being investigated by IRS and FBI and another had a domestic violence complaint. Parks covered up Rampart. Finally the media is putting out the truth. This is nothing compared to what's out there that will eventually come out. Hahn did the right thing getting rid of Bitter Bernie and Antonio doesn't have the guts to admit what he said even with his own voice being played. Is this what LA needs?

Again with the Parker posting. Something tells me Mayor Sam has given up on this race, ADV endorsement notwithstanding, and is sitting the rest out, broken-hearted that Hertzberg didn't pull and extra 1.5 percent out of the bag.

Tough crackers... now the only way to "dump Hahn" is to support a candidate who can't be trusted to tell you what day of the week it is. One who's politics are to the left of... well, heck, just about everybody, and who's carrying more personal and political baggae than the underbelly of a 767.

Swallow your pride, MS. Although it probably won't happen, but if he does win, you'll end up posting "Dump ADV" stickers on the blog by Thanksgiving (assuming he's still in town), and look even more stupid than backing down now.

YEAH!!! I sure hope this starts a barrage of all the LIES Antonio has put out there. Hey, isn't there a particular tape from CD14 with ANtonio on it promising a community group he would not run for mayor. Give that to the media quick!

One little jab by Hahn and Tony is already on the ropes. How many more lies do you think Kuwata has on tape - wait until the T.V. commercials hit. That's the premise for the whole campaign:
Hahn saying "Tony can't be trusted."
Tony responding "I don't RECALL, I don't RECALL,I don't RECALL, I don't RECALL, I don't RECALL, I don't RECALL...." Well Tony, you know who does RECALL - the voters of the 14th district. Maybe this is how the RECALL will finally get some press by having Tony be their spokesperson, "I don't RECALL."

Antonio, how about that promise you made to your childhood friend Gil Cedillo that you wouldn't even think of running for his seat?

Of course he doesn't "recall" saying these things, BECAUSE... Antonio Villaraigosa is a pathological liar. People who tell the truth don't have to "recall" it -- they know what they said and what they believe and think about important issues. They don't have to check with campaign central and ask (what do I tell THIS audience about that?).

Habitual liars have to run the tape back, and try to "recall" which lie they told this time. Even the "I can't recall" is one of the patented pathological lies.

ADV IS a pathological liar. He can't be trusted. Someone prove me wrong.

End of story!

That's the term I was trying to think of earlier when someone said calling ADV a flip-flopper, like his buddy Kerry, was too good for him. He's not a flip-flopper. He's a pathological liar.

Thanks, anonymous.

Add IATSE to UTLA and lots of other rank and files who will not follow Miguel.

Miguel thinks he is smart trying to walk down the center of the road. Endorse Jimmy, but hold back on the bucks to make sure amigo Villaraigosa slides by.

He has forgotten the accepted wisdom of:

"If you walk down the center of the road, you get hit by cars going both ways."

Not only will this be a great victory for Antonio, and a crushing defeat for Hahn, Wardlaw and Carrick, Miguel may well be the biggest loser of all.

The unions are talking behind your back, Miguelito. Watch your six.

IF more stories come out like the one about Antonio LYING about Parks and the way he played the Blacks I highly doubt Antonio has a chance in hell to win. The media has only begun to scratch the surface of all of Antonio's lies. Now I've heard from one reporter they will start doing their homework.

Considering only 26% of the electorate voted on March 8, its definitely noted that this pathetic blog is only a primal scream location for Villaraigosa haters. Its nice to know that they can get their frustration out in an open environ filled with the other handful of folks that hate like them.

Keep it up folks. I'm a professional psychiatrist in the northeast and I hope I will see you soon. There is some definite need for anger therapy and self actualization. Remember, its difficult to become the best person you can be when all you do is project your insecurities and self-loathing onto someone else. Especially when that figure is a public figure who is easy to blast in a faceless forum as opposed to working your anger out in person.

Those who vote for Hahn NEED the therapy, because a failed administration is nothing to continue.

LA is in the doldrums, and I'd vote for Evita or George W. Bush before I'd return the limp dick to sleep through another four years.

Heck, the last four years would never have happened if Jimmy Hahn had been alive.

It's true that republicans (businessmen) are giving to Villaraigosa. When asked why, the answer was: "We'll give to anybody we can buy." Pay to Play is going to be even worse under Mayor Villaraigosa.

To the Northeast Psychiatrist: What is the illness when a man is unable to honor any promise or vow he makes. Tony gets married (we all know what that vow is) and screws around with every woman that takes his fancy. He promises not to go after Gil Cedillo's seat - and breaks that promise. He promises Hertzberg to vacate the speakership at a certain time. Antonio breaks that promise. He promises the people of the 14th District he won't run for mayor and will stay afull term. He breaks that promise. AND IT DOESN'T SEEM TO BOTHER ANTONIO! That is an illness, right Northeast Psychiatrist?

ANtonio may not have a axis I illness , but the persoanlity the axis II, can be determined by that sort of behavior , impulsiveness , lack of judgement , and lying and not accepting responsibility for their actions could be any number of personality disrders , such as a narcissistic personality disorder , or even borderline because passive aggressive features are inherent. In alll seriousness , because of his background with a father that drank and beat his mother and his insistence on saying his mother sent him to school in rags , tells us he can not let us know if he can remember any good feeling from his upbringing, which brings us back to borderline personality disorder.

The only diagnosis I can give is that ANtonio villaraigosa is suffering from Political personality disorder not otherwise specified.(nos) Although this diagnosis can not be found in the DSM IV manual for psychaitic illnesses , it nonetheless fits.

For a politician this does not impair him in any way and the global scale of functioning would be very high , he can function , thus he can function as a politician , prone to lying , passsing the buck and forgetting promises he made. Thus as a politician he is sane.

As just a normal person he would be classified as a sociopath , without empathy and a conscience.

I am not the original Psychiatrist from the Northeast , but I thinkn this will do.

I prescribe 8-10 years out of public life having to make a living in the real world, without yes-men/women, staffers willing to take the blame for his failings to keep their jobs, and power-hungry sycophants surrounding him. It he had to spend the next several years dealing with the hard knocks of life and the other 99 percent live, ADV could be "cured" by he time he's ready for social security. Especially if people would stop looking the other way and his naive supporters wouldn't continue to "enable" his harmful personality dysfunctions.
