"Valley" Mayor Endorses Villaraigosa
NORTH HOLLYWOOD – Calling him the best choice to lead Los Angeles,
Assemblymember Keith Richman (R-Granada Hills) today endorsed Antonio
Villaraigosa for mayor.
Richman – who represents the north San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita,
and Simi Valley – said Villaraigosa will be a fresh start for the City.
“I’m a Republican, but I know Antonio Villaraigosa,” Richman said. “I
know his record and what he has done for Los Angeles. As Speaker of the
Assembly and now as a Councilmember, Antonio has always been able to
build consensus to get things done. Antonio will lead where Jim Hahn has
failed.”
Since coming in first in the primary with 33% of the vote, Villaraigosa
has been reaching out to leaders across Los Angeles to win their support.
“I’m proud to stand here next to Keith Richman,” Villaraigosa said. “I
say that because I know that no political party has a monopoly on the
right ideas. Voters here in the San Fernando Valley want a mayor who
listens to their concerns and keeps his word to make real changes.
Whether it’s increasing police presence, developing a sensible plan for
housing growth, or reducing gridlock, I will be that mayor.”
Richman also endorsed Villaraigosa’s vision for Los Angeles. “Antonio
and I agree on so many issues. We both want to create a regional airport
system instead of expanding LAX; we both know that improving services in
the Valley should be a priority; and we both want Los Angeles to hold
the line on fiscal responsibility. Antonio has the right ideas in this
race.”
Dr. Keith Richman was elected to the State Assembly in 2000 and has
distinguished himself by leading a bipartisan group of legislators to
craft solutions on the budget and health care. During the primary, he
served as co-chair of Bob Hertzberg’s campaign. In 2002, Richman
received the most votes for Mayor of the San Fernando Valley during the
secession vote.

Remember that Valley session was dead before sell-out Tony saved them while Assembly speaker by offering to have the State pick up the tab of that bogus study. What did Tony promise this white boy, a discount off his gardening, double the maid service or maybe one of his sisters?
That shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. Another guy who wanted to be mayor of something (wanted part of Hahn's job) and is pissed that Hahn stood in the way of his advancement. Is Villaraigosa intentionally running after endorements from everyone with sour grapes that ever lost to Hahn, got fired by him, or in some other way holds a personal grudge? Yeah, they're asy pickings in the slow, early weeks of the runoff, but why don't all the politicos with stunted ambitions who are mad at Hahn over their career advancement just get together and egg his care downtown someday. And stop wasting the voters' time pretending they're backing somebody else out of "concern" for the city.

It just goes to show how stupid people really are. Another WHITE guy behind the little Mexican idiot. Yea, Sacramento not one single endorsement from his Latino community. Richman wanted to split LA and that little asshole ADV has been saying he was against it. Now all of a sudden he's aligned himself with another loser. MISERY LOVES COMPANY. By the time we get finished with ADV he will be sorry he ever threw his hat in the ring.
Antonio is a grown man who doesn't even have control keeping his zipper up. He has kids out of wedlock and continues to be an out of control hyper mania. His friends are worried he will stumble and say or do something that will forever taint him from the political life. Not one single one of them has come out to support him because they are afraid it will hurt them. They are right. Stay in hiding.
Yes a latino for mayor, BUT not this one! Anybody else BUT VILLARAIGOSA! He is as embarassing as Alatorre,Hernandez and who ever else who has damaged the image of a latino politician.

Well Mr/Mrs/Ms Valley Person, you have the floor - what do you want to say? Nothing, it seems, except to be rude to the constituents of CD14.
All the valley people do is whine and complain. They whine that they don't get enough services, not enough police, not city services. Well, quit acting like whusses and get on your council persons like Gameboy Padilla, Zine, Greuel and Cardenas. You are part of the problem not the solution cause we're tired of hearing you complain. Move to another city!
