Stuck in Neutral
Today the Times serves up Bernard Parks. You'd think the title was a description of Park's campaign, but it is actually a quote from Parks describing Hahn's campaign. Here's a snippit:
The city is "stuck in neutral" because of Mayor James K. Hahn, Parks complains to six reporters and a couple of pedestrians. He flips through a stack of reports to illustrate his point.
Hahn has missed 586 votes as the most powerful member of the MTA, says Parks.
People drive past. They honk. They yell, "Hey, Chief!" Parks ignores them and keeps reading.
"The mayor is a transportation no-show. He has missed 30% of all MTA board meetings since he was elected…."
Before the native's get restless, I'll let you swing away

Nice picture of Parks. Does he get his suits at the the same upscale mens' clothing store as Tony Villar: M. T. Suit Broker?

Sorry, dgarzilla, but skidrow residents can't host $1,000 campaign birthday breakfasts -- at least not one's Tony V. or his future commissioners would want to attend.

Try not to be upset about him dissing Skid Row. He has not delievered for any other part of the CD14 either. Has he hosted one of his famous days of service or started a neighborhood watch in Skid Row? Or did he forget about you guys too?

The Mayor administration is not stuck in neutral, they are stuck on Pluto because they are way out there. The Mayor and his staff all take drugs because they have no sense of reality. I guess it is better to be stuck in neutral than to be running over your constituents like AV is doing rightnow.

ADV isn't running all over his constituents he's openly stealing from them and threatening that if they don't volunteer for his stupid sweep up day next weekend he will cut their funding. That's what a mobster mentality he has. MEAT always says Gotti about Hahn. His boss ADV acts like a mobster to poor community people. CD14 will unite as one force to get rid of him for good.
