Martini Republic fails to gain any credibility as it still continues to post the same kind of leftist drivel you can get in the LA Weekly or KPFK on any given day.
Apparently Mailander has his panties in a bunch because we had yet to cover yet another God damn mayoral debate. How many of these have there been this week alone? God Bless LA Voice for blogging the debates, but for Christ almighty if you want debate coverage watch the God damn thing youself moron!
We have more important things to do here like chase down the coming dirt on Mayor Poopy, Tony Villar and the rest. And boy its going to be fun the next few weeks.
If you want blow by blow on every damn debate why don't you catch the MTA with Leonard Shapiro or Forkush or Walter Moore and go do it youself jackass.
Now, I did fall down on the ball in failing to report on Addie Mae Miller's appearance this morning on Doug McIntyre's show. But that's about all there was to say, she was there. Apparently Addie will reveal her platform after she is elected.

Not all the dems in the race are that leftist. Parks' new profile is painting him more centrist. The 20 percent Villaragosa faithful are going to become the most disenchanted if he makes a runoff, however, when he has to throw a head-fake and draw play to try and run up the middle. When you're the big "L" in the race and can't even touch one-quarter of the likely voters (GOP) you've got to move to the middle rapidly and then get 2 out of every 3 votes from what's left -- including centrists, independents, blue-collar dems -- just to break 50%. Tough for anyone to do; impossible if you're phoning it in from out-of-state like on the recent debates.
If the site sucks, Alex, why post here? Why read it? Maybe your panties are in a bunch.

Martini Republic is not on the level of KPFK. They're far crappier. At least some of the folks at the LA Weekly can read, write, and not spend their time crapping all over other blogs for non-existent slights.
What's amazing to me is how they spend so much energy attacking anyone who dares disagree with them, and spend so much time attacking other blogs on other blogger's sites. They are such losers, theyr'e not even spouting leftist drivel (that would be an improvement) they're just jerks, posing as holier than thou liberals. Even the liberals think they suck ass.
Word to the MR people: You suck. Get a day job. Or better yet, quit pissin' on Mayor Sam. His site serves a purpose and people like it. at least it's not whining faux alcoholics (if you people drank more you wouldn't be such losers, at least you'd lighten up!) and go do something useful. Like play in traffic.
