Unlike a certain CD 14 Officeholder who admitted to having A DRINK before rear-ending a former Huntington Park Police Officer (and benefiting from a sobering, two-hour siesta in the back seat of a LAPD Squad Car ......, allegedly), both CD 1 City Councilman Gil Cedillo Staffer Fredy Ceja and CD 8 City Councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson Staffer Fredy Torres (driving a Cit Vehicle), spent some quality weekend time in LAPD's new Downtown Glasshouse. For Ceja, who was involve in a accident with a MTA Bus, this was his FOURTH alcohol-related, driving episode since 2003. One longtime City Hall Observer noted that Ceja's Arrest is sure to prompt questions regarding his employment by Councilman Cedillo, in lieu of the fact that all Council Staffers are subjected to a background check, in which any discriminating details uncovered, are shared with the Officeholders. Next Time You Need To Get Out of Jail

I should have thought of this when Nick Pacheco was charged with a DUI but I have a client who is one of the top bail bond agents in the US.
