Higby! Paul Teetor declared you the winner and you credited him as writing for the Daily News - it's the LA Weekly!!!
Drunk with victory I suppose, or smoking Shifty's product?

SOME OBSERVATIONS FROM OUTSIDE OF CD2
1. Stop referring to Tamar as a "Hometown Girl." She is at least 45 years old and hasn't been a "girl" since the 1970s.
2. Stop referring to Essel as a "Valley Girl." She is at least 55 years old and hasn't been a "girl" since the 1960s, at LEAST.
3. If anyone votes for a carpetbagger, even one who USED to live or who was raised in the district, is a foolish person. The person doesn't think enough to live in the district, or has financial grown to wealthier areas. That means that they cannot connect with the realities of every day life there. That is a fact. So if you vote for any such person, whether it's paul, tamar, chris or anyone, even if zuma dogg parks his van there (I do not know his status), then you get what you deserve.
The fact that Essel doesn't even know the name of ONE school in the area, and that she's not sharp enough to anticipate that question, speaks volumes of her. Do you really think that with her wealth she lives in a rented apartment there?
As for Tamar, she is clearly a job-climber. Do you know who else was? Antonio. See a pattern? The same can be said for Paul.
Most of the others are also rans.
While I don't get a vote tomorrow, just ask yourself who is gonna shake things up more than anyone else, since there's so much corruption at city hall? Who has the best handle on the subjects, even if he gets obnoxious sometimes?
If I lived there, I have no doubt who I'd vote for.
Final thought is that if someone tries to bully you with fake posts and obnoxious comments, such as Joe
B., you should look in another direction. Same can be said for Mr. Higby IF it's true that he is receiving some form of compensation from Mr. Kerkorian. I don't know if it's true. It is clearly just a rumor at this point.
Yea yea, y'all.

Charlie, you are an idiot. Go away. We don't need one more goofball around here. And clearly that's what you are. Nice picture.
Shelby York said:
Need to add two more things: Is Mr. Jennerjahn slightly retarded? Someone posted his "resume" from his Congressional campaign website (yes, try not to laugh at that thought).
Phil seems like a nice person, but one who has spent the last 20 years failing to see things to the end in anything he endeavors to do. From his own writings, both here and on his website, it sounds like a classic case of someone who is going to his 20th High School Reunion and is desperately trying to sound like he has accomplished something and is trying to position himself like a more polite, but low rent version of rush limbaugh. Again, funny to read him but not for the right reasons. I came to this conclusion once he lashed out at the people who found flaws in a commentary of his this weekend.
Finally, whoever LEAST resembles the political make up of the current city hall is the person you should really look at. In addition to Mr. Dogg, IF it's so that Ms. Benson is a Republican, then she deserves some serious consideration too.
Every incumbent seemed like an outsider at one point. These two seem like the best contrast to the current criminal lineup in that horse shoe.

If you KNEW A FUCKING THING ABOUT MOVIES 8:32, YOU WOULD KNOW WHO THIS CHARACTER IS!
Do you have the slightest bit of knowledge of anything before you write? Or do you just pound away at the keyboard hoping for something logical to appear.
If that's the case, then keep pounding because you've not yet come up with anything logical.

236 - I guess I was infected with CD14 cut and paste disease. Fixed.
Charlie its funny that you and others think that I've been bought off by Krekorian but consider the following:
If Krekorian or Hacopian bought me off and "own" this site why would I let any anti-Krekorian posts and comments on the blog?
Next, how much value is there for a campaign to "buy off" a blog? We don't have enough readers from CD2 to swing an election by any measure.
Last, even if Krekorian or Hacopian would write me a check, they couldn't afford it.
So if you're funnin' that's one thing but if you seriously believe this we have to question your logic.
Blog away dum dum.

Mr. Higby:
Go back and read what I wrote. I put the word "IF" in there. That is more care than Phil and Joe put in their posts here.
Do you see where I put that?

It'll be hilarious if Zuma can't crack 1000 votes or come in fifth so he cannot crow about just missing the runoff.
If that happens we can have a party at Casa Princess!

Is Charlie Cheswick zuma dogg?

Is Sheftell the guy who did that cooking show on the radio? Was his name either sheftell or chef tell or something?

I'm with 858am! If ZD doesn't get 1k votes, it will be time to rise for a toast! I hope that restaurant serves libations.

In case 8:32 is reading, that is a Charlie Cheswick line from the movie.

We can invite Erik Garsetti to cafe princessa to join us for a toast. I have NO doubt that he would join us to toast zuma dogg's complete inability to break through to a runoff or even get close.

Mayor Sam, in answer to your question about why would you allow negative comments about Kerkorian if you were being paid by him, it's rather obvious: you're trying trying to not APPEAR completely biased and let a few slip on by.
It's tough to see how you're not in the bag for him, given the heightened froth you've put into his campaign and the attacks you've made on everything Joe B. writes. You should have more respect for someone who contributes so much to this blog!

And another fake threat by the Zuma Dogg
Monday, September 21, 2009
Zuma Dogg Is Now Retired From Day to Day Activism and has made final city hall appearance unless he has to be the councilmember.
Shelby York said:
Mr. Zuma Dogg I hope you aren't quitting the day before the election.
That is really shooting yourself in the foot and is nothing short of sabotage.
Please you cannot do this at the last moment. "Noone" is going to vote for anybody who threatens to quit if they lose.
I know you get upset whenever someone mentions kinkos or staples but that is what your reality is going to be if you say you're going to quit if you lose.
Anonymous said:
i'm really disappointed in you zuma dogg. today, of all days, you threaten to quit?
Michael Higby said:
Ok so if I'm paid off then is JoeB? How about Kevin James or Walter Moore? Nope, we're just advocating for our candidate.
Anonymous said:
Higby @10:35, do you realize that by comparing yourself to Kevin James, "if I'm getting paid so are they" you are CONFIRMING you're getting paid? OF COURSE James is paid to do what he does, promote conservative Republican interests on his show! It's ALL about ratings for his show which mean money and pays his large salary, and the notoriety fuels his political ambition.
He gives Tamar points ONLY for having stood upto his enemy the Mayor, but of course he was going to go for the Republican who's very vocal about supporting Zine and Trutanich and the Party.
As for Walter's motive, he and James can't get over that he didn't defeat Antonio and hope to get Mary in as a thorn in his side. The REAL motivation of James and all of them. REALLY HIGBY don't go all Phil on us.
Michael Higby said:
No dum dum of course Kevin gets a paycheck for his job.
My question was are Joe B, Kevin and Walter Moore being paid off for their endorsements.
No. And neither am I.
The rest of your thesis is interesting.

People here have short memories. Don't you remember Zuma has bigger and better things coming up? He's starring in his own documentary on the big screen! He was hoping for his own reality show but the small screen was too small for him, or some such, he said. A film crew was to follow him around on his
campaigning and to city hall.
And you thought he was arrogant before?
