Why cant Tamar take a pay cut of 50% on an already OUTRAGEOUS salary of ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS?!? Her answer was such BS. And AUGUSTO BISANI, I certainly HOPE that you would do it for free, because I would hate MY tax dollars to go to some one that says "I don't know" as much as you.

12:46, you're confusing Tamar and her excellent education with Nuch.
HE's the one who went to something called the South Bay University College of Law Night School, which existed in Carson for a few years in the 70's before it closed due to all kinds of questions and shadiness. His ludicrous "education" shows every time he opens his mouth, he's the least educated and knowledgeable of virtually anyone in the City Attorney's office. Try again.

No, she went to UC Hastings in San Francisco after graduatiog from UCLA.

She's not dumb, just needs voice lessons.

And, she is somewhat of a hottie...

I agree with 825. Tamar is looking very sexy, although I didn't really recognize it before this debate.

She's got my vote, since all of the women on council are disgusting. You know something's wrong when Wendy was the best looking of the group. She looks like a malf elf.

when it comes down to "looks" for the city council, it gets ridiculous. Look at the issues not the faces! If you don't like looking at someone, close your eyes and open your eyes and listen!

THIS PAY CUT ISSUE TELLS YOU HOW THEY REALLY FEEL ABOUT YOU THEY DON'T CARE!!

Get real people. This pay cut thing is just a gimmick. It wouldn't even make small dent in the city budget. It's just something people like to fall back on when they have nothing else to attack with.

Consider out of all the candidates, who gets the biggest raise if they get elected, and who gets the smallest. You may find that the people who are being attacked on this issue actually have the least to gain.

Remember that the time you spend talking about gimmicky issues like this, you are wasting time that could have been spent talking about issues that really matter. It was my understanding that people are running in this election becuase to discuss real issues.

@ 6:32

So because say, ZUMA DOGG has the most to gain, financially, we shouldn't trust him?

If this job payed half of what it does, your saying it wont dent the budget?

Lets play a math game.

Half of the current salary is about $88,000 multiply that by 4, because we have a 4 year term, you get $352,000, then times THAT by 15, for how many CD's we have and we get $5,280,000 the by 8 for San Diego is $42,240,000 then Pasadena has 7 so were at $295,680,000, Berkley has another 8, so now we stand @ 2,365,440,000.

OK!!

Thats TWO POINT THREE BUH-BILLION
DOLLARS that we DIDN'T spend, over a 4 year period, from only cutting COUNCIL MEMBERS payrolls in half over 4 CITIES. I don't know what CA's current budget is, but I only covered 4 cites and we broke 2 Billion. Imagine what the savings would be if we did that all across, the state.

And why stop at the state, what about all across the USA?

EDIT: I found a few more cities with a total of 12 Districts so that brings the total to a WHOPPING

$28,385,280,000
