This blog is confusing me. Why are y'all going through the exercise of trying to overturn legal elections? First Mayor Sam is leading the charge to overturn the villaraigosa election. It's noble, and thank you for that, but it's overturning a legitimate vote.
Now this thing wiht the Prop 8? The people have spoken, and you are disrespecting the will of the people by trying to overturn it. Where is your respect for the vote? Wouldn't you be complaining if it turned out the other way, and someone tried to overturn it?
How do you know that there are going to be 7 parts to this series?
Are they all written out already?
The people have spoken, the ones that voted, but that doesn't mean it's correct. Can't wait for the next ballot initiative: Jews can't marry gentiles.

I just heard that CalPERS boardmember Louis F. Moret and his brother Gilbert Moret's non-profit organizations are being investigated by various agencies.
There needs to be a widespread investigation of a number of non-profits in this City. Especially the ones who have been handed millions of dollars and squandered it.

Prop 8 is another Prop where hacks like these turned out their mobs in much huger numbers than the average population which sat it out. We need them to understand that when they leave the rightwing screamers to influence who votes, the silent majority loses. Keep it up Michelle. I don't think anyone really cares too much about a seven part series about Prop. 8. Please spare us! We're busy discussing the mayor's girlfriend's Betty. Gay issues hardly fit in.

All the pro gay marriage comments ignore the fact that in every case, both in California and elsewhere else where it was put to a public vote, gay marriage approval has failed. Only the politicians and some judges are for it.
