Jan Perry to Emcee New Dating Reality Show
LA CityView 35, the City of Los Angeles' official television station has announced a new program to begin airing on April 15th - "The Cougar" starring Councilmember Janice Hahn. Hahn, a divorcee, will be matched up with twenty younger men who will compete for her affections and hope to ultimately be chosen as her new mate. From the show's press material:"From the creator of Ruth Galanter and Friends comes a game-changing, provocative new reality show that redefines the rules of dating. Meet "The Cougar": Janice, a beautiful, blonde mother from San Pedro. As the star of TV35's new reality competition dating series, Janice -- who's a successful and determined politician-- is eager to shatter dating stereotypes. She believes society has placed a double standard on women who date younger men and wants to prove that age is simply a number."

Hilarious. And not too bad of an idea actually.
Perry is the one to be blamed for all the billboard mess in LA. She wanted a park that was on MTA land but in order to get it she had to agree to those ugly billboards. She had idiots go speak in support like people from gang banger families. Weekly story on City Council. People are asking why Steve Cooley or General Atty Brown haven't indicted Perry on all the corrutption listed in LA Weekly.
,,,,Noreen McClendon, of Concerned Citizens of South Central Los Angeles, says it took Saint Odilia Church eight years to get Councilwoman Jan Perry to help them get a street light at 51st and Hopper, where she says children had been hit by cars. Last year, McClendon notes, Perry announced she would grant the ultimate City Hall favor: She would “expedite” the process. McClendon smelled a rat. “Of course, Jan is running for office [on March 3]. If you could expedite it in 2008, why didn’t you expedite it in 2004?”
.....That Council District 9’s Perry never reviewed the map is not, perhaps, surprising. She represents skyscraper-dotted downtown and lives a lush life far removed from the bulk of the people she works for, many who live in tattered, working-class South L.A. The luxury building in which she bought her condo for $320,000 in 2003 comes complete with a concierge-security guard in an opulent first-floor lobby and is only a stone’s throw from the Frank Gehry–designed Walt Disney Concert Hall.
....Perry’s condo is also adjacent to the long-delayed $3.1 billion Grand Avenue luxury hotel and shopping development. Although Perry has a direct and personal financial interest in seeing Grand Avenue built — that interest being the increased value of her own condo building — it bothers no one in City Hall that she serves on the Grand Avenue Authority, the watchdog group supposedly assuring that millions of dollars in public subsidies flowing to Grand Avenue are protected.
....Most taxpayers would probably be upset to learn that Perry enthusiastically pushed to use $30 million in voter-approved bonds from California’s 2006 Affordable Housing Trust Fund — not to house the poor or battered women, as voters intended, but to create an architecturally snooty “Civic Park” just down the block from Perry’s condo.
Perry could undoubtedly use the Housing Trust Fund subsidy to prop up her condo value since her life is a financial train wreck. She had a 2008 IRS lien against her for $67,099 and has taken out two big loans in recent years.
County records show Perry finally paid off her lien — one of many she has faced — last August. Her lawyer ex-husband has previously taken the blame . But she also borrows heavily — including an unusual 2003 loan for $45,000 at 5 percent interest from wealthy Malibu real estate broker Chris Cortazzo, and $72,500 from a credit union in 2007, according to the L.A. County Recorder.

I'd sooner date Ruth Galanter than Janice Hahn. She insisted that I support fee waivers, and I just couldn't do it.
The horror
Hahn looks awesome for her age.
Since Janice is seen prowling around San Pedro dive bars on any given night, this show should have EXCELLENT ratings. It will have it all;
1. Sex (lots of it if you know Janice.)
2.Violence (dodging bullets down town San Pedro.)
3. Crime fighting (see #2)
4. Suspense (Will Janice get a ticket since she's been in the bar over 2 hours and she increased the meter fees and lessened the time allowed to park in San Pedro??)
5. A happy endiing (Janice runs off with bachelor #462 and resigns her position as council woman.)
Man, someone in the mainstream needs to do a closer examination of Perry. How does she get away with this stuff?

You don't expect much of women in their late fifties it's clear.
Susan Sarandon, Goldie Hawn, Glenn Close and women like that truly "look awesome for their age" and they're all 60 or above. Hawn looks tolerable with a floodlight on her. And DON'T make remind me about that bathing suit photo she sent out for Christmas!
MORE COUNCIL MEMBERS SHOULD CONSIDER EMCEE A SHOW IT WILL KEEP THEM FROM CREATING MORE PROBLEMS DOWNTOWN AND THEY'LL GET THEIR PICTURES PLASTERED AROUND TOWN.
The parodies are fab Sam. This is the best.
