Sierra Club loses its collective mind.
I can't believe I just got this in my in-box... basically it indicates that the mighty Sierra Club likes things just the way they are currently in Los Angeles -- with some of the most criminal wasters and spenders firmly entrenched in office. They also are apparently okay with "solar at any price".
I personally think that John Muir is turning over in his grave... What do you other left-leaning folks think?
(Ummm... Hahn is in 15, not 14. Kind of indicates just how much the Sierra Club actually thought about their selections...)

Janice Hahn is running for the 14th district?
Their e-mail editors are just as incompetent as their board of directors.
This kind of line-up means that I will no longer pay attention to their endorsements. They are clearly either too stupid or to bought-and-paid-for to rely on their advice.

I love the Sierra Club usually but they have this really fucked up policy of not endorsing anyone who they don't think will win. It makes me think that endorsements are meaningless now and that they'll soon be out of the picture. They are all worthless endorsements.
Politicians do that too. I guess none of the above are ballsy enough to disagree with an elected that they didn't endorse.
I guess the Sierra Club cares more about being green than the drive by shootings in Council District 1.
Go green if you don't die in the drive bys.

I NO LONGER SUPPORT THE SIERRA CLUB THEY HAVE OVER STEPPED THERE CONTROL AND INFLUENCE BY SUPPORTING A LOCAL MEASURE WHICH EFFECTS THE OPERATION AND CONTROL OF LOCAL DWP SERVICES AT GREAT COST TO AVERAGE WORKING CITIZENS WHO'S LIVES WILL BE HURT BY THE TRIPPLING OF THE UTILITIES COST. THE PANELS WILL COME FROM CHINA AND THE FEW JOBS CREATED WILL GO TO LOW PAYED WORKERS. THE COST TO FAMILIES WILL BE GREAT AND IT'S NOT THE ONLY EXPENSE THAT WILL RESULT FOOD, GAS AND WATER WILL SKYROCKET ALL THANKS TO A MAYOR WHO IS HUNGRY FOR POWER AND PHOTO-OPS. OTHER SERVICES WILL BE CUT INCLUDING POLICE,FIRE,AND SHERIFFS JAILS WILL CLOSE AND CRIME WILL RAISE. ENJOY THE RIDE YOU VOTED FOR IT.
