Who's Editing Jack Weiss' Wikipedia Page?
It's become quite common for politicians to edit Wikipedia pages. As an "open-source" repository of knowledge, anyone can edit a Wikipedia page to add additional information or refine what is already there.
There appears to be some back and forth editing and deleting Sunday on Jack Weiss' page. The site's records show that someone with an IP address located in Argentina has removed several paragraphs of less than positive history about the City Attorney hopeful.

No one has a "right" to put their own propaganda smears into someone's listing.
For you to take the side that they do is typical of you, Higby. If you ever have a listing of any substance that you earn by virtue of achievements and not this blog of rumor and innuendo, you'll know that. Whether it's Weiss or anyone else of substance, this is a common failing of Wikipedia, that anyone with malicious intent can also "edit" it. (One of those people are your sources who actually complained that their dirty tricks were discovered, and you're in a snit about THAT -- figures.)

I've never ever ever had one word spoken to me from Jack Weiss, even though I have attempted to engage him many times over three years, even just pleasantries or digging a little fun at him.
NOT ONE WORD.
Try calling him. Or getting through to any incumbent.
as I noticed on a previous blog post, a rumor that the ACLU tried to contact Zuma..he rightly points out: he is imminently contactable, and accessible to everyone.
Big point.
He has a method which is proven globally, he doesn't suffer fools and calls it as he sees it.
Elect him Mayor and then he'll have the job, and home and shower that everyone so desperately craves for him.
and lets not forget of all the candidates which one has the closest links to a real actual alleged killer: the son of a close friend and political ally, no?

And Gosh (lol), it's been edited again, this time a tad closer to home.... I despise that guy, his 'belief' in 'daddy' govt makes me ill.
My contempt for him is second only to: the arrogant sneak-dealer Eric Garcetti.
What's the word, who WOULD be a good choice for City Attorney?

Sounds like the Argentine connection and the first post may have a very close connection.
Regardless, you can edit all you want, all day and all night either way, and you won't change what JACK WEISS has done in two terms in office that are FACTS, and that can be checked, mostly to a bad end.
But as many others care more about, JACK has reinforced his elitist, condescending, arrogant and unsympathetic image that just has to be how he is, to the core.
He would not get my vote even if he had Pres. Obama endorse him.
Karma in operation, along with JACK just being totally an unsuitable and nasty mean guy, no matter what all that the UCLA Law Alumn newsletter says about him.
Loyalty over substance for the Bruins.
Fellow Bruin- UCLA SofL
for NOEL WEISS, THE "good" Weiss, for City Attorney.

Aw, that's nothing. All these egotistical politicos write their own Wikipedia pages. Didn't Walter Moore keep getting deleted from Wikipedia for creating his own vanity page from his "Moore For Mayor" site?
Check out the logs for the HolyGhostWarrior: (SCARY name, Walter, SCARY!)

I echo these sentiments. Jack Weiss has conducted himself as an out-of-touch jerkoff.
I won't get into the reasons or subjects. The bottom line is that he clearly showed that he was bothered by a constituent (one who lives in his district, mind you!) and wanted to do things his own way.
Jack Weiss craves the limelight, but not the responsibility that comes with being an elected official.
What's more galling is the same thing we always do: try and support people who share our ethnicity, rather than the person who would be best at the job. I've never understood why the Latinos support idiots like Ed Reyes (and others); the Jews support Jack Weiss; the blacks support bitter people like Bernie Parks, and Janice Hahn and Jim Hahn because her DAD was a somebody. et al.
We deserve the lousy representation we choose. There's no way we should complain about the shitty leadership in the city. We choose people who look like us, and if that's the criteria, then we have nothing to complain about.
Sincerely,
A Jew who did not vote for Jack Weiss in CD-5.

You had someone on this blog just a few days ago boast that he put in some nasty stuff to Weiss's Wikipedia and admitted he keeps doing it in a game of chicken.
Figures the petty hacker would be bragging about it here, look no further for the culprit. Let's see, who's been obsessed with negative posts about Weiss?

I actually hate Jack Weiss.
I am disappointed in Antonio Villaraigosa, Rocky Delgadillo, etc. But while I disapprove of them, I don't hate them on a personal basis.
Jack Weiss on the other hand, is someone who I hate.

It wasn't me, and I don't like Jack Weiss at all.
Don't assume that because one person is tinkering with his entry on Wikipedia, that that's the only person who dislikes Jack Weiss.
There are PLENTY of people who dislike Jack. This is evidence by the thousands of people who signed a petition to recall the man.
It doesn't even matter that the recall failed. There is enough dislike of him to get the movement started and people motivated.
Tomorrow will be a great day of comeuppance for Jack Weiss. He will be out of public life for GOOD. He ain't got a chance at another office. He can spend the rest of his career in a nice corner office at some law firm and tell people at lunch what he almost accomplished.

Carmen "Nuch" Trutanich for City Attorney!!!!

I would vote for Phil Jennerjahn for city attorney, except for the fact that HE DROPPED OUT OF LAW SCHOOL!
Even Tony Villar managed to get through law school!

Nuch's sister-in-law Pamela Trutanich has a couple of hardhitting entries on the LA Weekly blog about the Sharks Circling Weiss for City Attorney. Turns out she's the real deal, exposes him as someone who's known him 30 years, as a selfish fraud who's nothing like the spin doctors have portrayed. He'll say and do anything for power and money and his "gang" of Rocky, Cooley and more should scare the s-t out of L A she says.
She's voting for Weiss although she's never met him because of his superior qualifications and character -- he doesn't go around making nasty Mother Goose mailers and others with opponents' heads on animals in desperate attempts. What kind of reflection is that on someone who wants to be a top legal official?
Of course Nuch's camp is trying to tear her down for this, but it took a lot of guts to go public like this knowing how vindictive he is.

(Looks around room with befuddled look) Oh bugger, they're not looking. Let's try again, shall we? Yes, let's.
Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen (removes hat and bows low with flourish. Puts hat back on head and looks around again): They're STILL not looking. (Looks at crew. Crew rolls eyes) Fine. One of the Five tells me I'm missed, and now that I've come back in all my self-righteous glory and THIS is what I get. (Mutters under breath) Surely they'll come running when they want to know what I know which may not be much but enough to make them that know a lot more just a tad uncomfortable. (Whispers) The eleventh-hour is SO the specialty of a pirate, savvy?
