Matt Dowd to Perform at Sister City Fourth Anniversary

You may not like his public comment, but Matt Dowd is by far one of the most talented guitar players in Los Angeles.  Check him out playing ZZ Top's La Grange on Venice Beach here.

Matt will be performing this Friday night at our big Fourth Anniversary party hosted by Zuma Dogg at Casa Princesa in Highland Park. Everyone is welcome to attend, we'll have karaoke, open mic for musicians, singers and poets, public comment and special guests. The fun starts at 7 and goes until closing. See you there!

Matt Dowd can't play the guitar as good as Sarah Palin plays the flute, plus Sarah Palin is hot looking. Sarah for President !!!

Matt's playing on a Tele in this clip so it might be an older clip, but he did even better on Friday night, expertly handling a white Strat- that happens to be a guitar, of course, not a sexual or racial reference.

It's all good that Michael Higby likes the guitar playing of Matt, to call him one of the most talented guitar players in Los Angeles is rather myopic.

This isn't Kansas.

Higby is NOT myopic to make that claim. This is not Kansas, it's Los Angeles and the claim sticks. Make sure YOU see him play before you weigh in, dummy. But not at the upcoming event, please. You'll be out of town, anyway.

Thanks for calling me dummy for having a different opinion than yours. Name calling always works well when making a point.

I did see him play, there's a video attached to this thread.
