Friend of Alatorre, Villar, Huizar faces Eviction from CalTrans Property
He went before the City Council and had choice words for Zuma Dogg. His CD 14 connections include Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Richard Alatorre and of course the "COUNCILMAN LAST SEEN AS JOSE HUIZAR" among others. A attorney by day he sleeps in state-owned housing for a nominal rent, or should we say "did"?A couple on months back we posted a rumor connected to the person above,
***........and this from a source in CD 14. A official from CalTrans who oversees State owned properties in El Sereno, South Pasadena, and Pasadena, quickly departed a meeting when informed that an "certain person" was invited. Apparently threats has been made against this official by a person with interest in CalTrans properties.
Now it has been learned that Caltran Tenants Association Rep. Don Jones faces eviction from his Caltrans residence.
Whether this is related to the above incident is still murky at this time, but his past actions reveals a confrontational persona, and a connected one at that.
Posters in the past have made the connection to Jones and the "cast of characters" that make up the LA 32 Neighborhood Council, with a good number of them benefiting from their access to CalTrans porperties that lie along the 710 right a way in El Sereno, South Pasadena, and Pasadena.

That's the beauty of a "Red Spot" post, it doesn't have to be about anything at all, involve anyone who matters in L.A. politics, or even begin to make sense (except to RS - and I'm not sure that's always even true).

Who ever have the CalTrans Property in Pasadena or Los Angeles are "friends of friends" who live in beautiful homes for very little money; less than 1K per month.

The people casting insults around here should do some research before they say anything else that will just make them look more stupid than they already do.
The 710 "gap closure" corridor situation in El Sereno, South Pasadena and Pasadena is a lot more complicated than the BS being spouted here, has a long history the predates any of the current elected officials in the affected area.
But why should we expect Red Spot or anyone else here to sort through complicated facts when simplistic slime is easily available?
The 710 Corridor is complicated. Don is a Caltrans property renter for many years. He is a ringleader of the Caltrans Tenants who have fought the completion of the 710 Freeway for years. Why?
Because if the 710 freeway is abandoned, they will get to buy the house they are renting at a freakin bargain basement price. Houses worth hundreds of thousands of dollars will be sold at scandalous low prices at a huge loss to the State.
Interesting that he might be evicted by Caltrans. I would assume that could only happen if he was not paying the sweet low rent he currently pays.
It's all about money. Why else would someone who lives in Pasadena (or NOT!) attend so many meetings at: LACity Council, Pasadena CC, So Pas CC, MTA, LA32 NC, be on LA32 land-use committee, worked for Victor Griego (DSO) promoting the connector road, is on a 710 task force of CD14, etc., etc., etc, earn a living? Who knows how he maintains a law business without being on someone's payroll? Is this guy running for CD14? Watch out Jose H. he's coming to get you. Or maybe he should get a public relations certificate from Antonio V.

He's someone who doesn't give a shit about El Sereno. He only cares about stopping the 710 Fwy and buying his $1mm+ Caltrans rental home in Pasadena for nothing.
If he did care for El Sereno he wouldn't have recommenced the Connector Rd, a project that would destroy the community of Emery Park with a good percentage of the 50,000 cars that use the corridor each day.

Don J. was evicted for threatening 2 state workers. He claims to be a lawyer but is not listed with the CA. state bar, or any other state in the United States.
Don has never been a member of the Caltrans Tenants Association much less a representative of such.
