Doug McIntyre Interviews Danielle Bologna & Jamiel Shaw, Sr.

McIntyre is using these tragedies to drive his own ratings, though -- it was totally tasteless and literally shocked me that he'd throw into the middle of his talk with Mrs. Balogna, how Newsom was "banging his campaign manager's wife while he had cancer," and the Mayor was "shtuping a newswoman with wine and chicken," instead of dealing with illegal gangbangers. HOW blatantly pandering to the lowest common denominator: like what ANYONE does at night has anything to do with their policies.

Also, it's clouding the issue bigtime to compare SF's Sanctuary City status, actively protecting gangbangers from the law, with LA's, where the LAPD just hasn't been used to enforce federal ICE laws. They're already understaffed when it comes to just responding to home burglaries, etc. -- we need more cops to respond to crimes.

BIG STUPIDITY that the screaming heads like McIntyre and his ilk put forth, though, is that blaming the City Officials for Espinoza shows ignorance about what happened: the DA's office, DA Cooley's office, is in charge of the County Prisons like where Espinoza was held, again and again, and with Sheriff Baca's people, are the ones responsible for FELONIES and ID'ing illegals in the prison system. The DA's office has hundreds of investigators who COULD EASILY DO THIS, BUT DON'T BECAUSE COOLEY DOESN'T WANT THEM TO BOTHER. THAT WOULD UPSET HIS BIGGEST CONTRIBUTORS THE DEFENSE ATTORNEYS WHO DEFEND THE MEXICAN MAFIA-RELATED CROOKS IN THE "SOUTH CITIES" AND ELSEWHERE.

Plus his office is just hugely incompetent: he released a husband in prison on a restraining order for trying to kill his wife, without telling the wife so he killed her like he'd promised. Without ever telling the poor wife, she didn't have a chance. Cooley hid day AFTER the election. Where's the outrage?
The City Attorney handles misdemeanors, which isn't the case here. Zine's motion to "reform" SP40 is meaningless, a self-promo stunt like his paparazzi law. Doug McIntyre and his ilk egging on the Shaws to badmouth City Officials and Chief Bratton has backfired.

Mrs. Balogna in San Fran and the Shaws in LA, have in common an issue which needs to be addressed BY THEIR OWN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS and STATEWIDE. San Fran's leadership has actively obstructed ICE laws when it comes to illegals, LA hasn't. Jamiel's Law is aimed at the WRONG agencies and lawmakers and is doomed - reality is, you need to go after this ISSUE at a statewide level, on an issue level, if you want it to succeed.

I'd like to ask the Shaws what the view in the Black community, as church going Christians what they or others think of Mark Ridely-Thomas attending a gay oriented fundraiser hosted by two owners of gay bathhouses?

For the little old Black ladies who vote what Mr. Ridely-Thomas is supporting is facilities where gay men pay to go and have anonymous sex with other men in bathrooms.

Mr. Ridely-Thomas must want to bring to South Central. NEar your churches and schools.

Hey Shaw Family,

I think you know by now that the readers of this blog are not spun by the professional political spinners like the one at 11:24 AM.

And they are never more obvious than when they criticize your blog posts.

How shameless and desperate these people trying to cling on to power to cover their own (soon to be indited) asses are.

After my own two year experience with City Hall, it seems like the Villaraigosa strategy is "point the finger at the other guy and blame other people. INSTEAD OF BEING A LEADER AND DOING WHAT HE CAN AS MAYOR!

MAYOR VILLAROSA, THE FINGER POINTING , DO NOTHING, ACHIEVE NOTHING, PERPETUAL FUND-RAISING, DUMMY OF A NO RESPONSIBILITY IN HIS PERSONAL OR ELECTED LIFE, LOSER!

Sanctuary cities shielding illegal immigrants:

What’s the difference between San Francisco, Los Angeles, Maywood and many other cities in CA that are doing the same?

Black, brown or white, gay, straight, Republican or Democrat, Jew, Catholic, Muslim or Christian...

If you listen to the interview with Ms. Bologna and still support low life politicians like Tony Villar and Gavin Newsom and you still support radical social engineering theories like Special Order 40 -

then you have no morals or conscience.

Did zooma dog just call someone "shameless and desperate"?

Are you kidding me? Zooma, you perfected the art of "shameless and desperate."

Higby calls SP40 "radical social engineering," and he wonders why noone takes him seriously? Someone else sees no diff between an actual Sanctuary City like S.F. and what they've done, and L.A. And all these ignoramuses, with their lowlife leader the crude, vulgar, timewasting "shameless and desperate" hustler Madd Dogg are too simple-minded to understand the difference between felonies and misdeameanors, who's responsible for each, and what really happened. That's why this project is doomed to fail and is becoming more and more marginalized as it goes on, not less.

Much as I resented Richard Alarcon jumping up and claiming from the onset that the Shaws are being led around by the ignorant, it's now become true, though perhaps not quite as he'd thought at the time.

Jim, just because SF is LA on steroids doesn't mean LA isn't fucked up.

We're trying to turn things around before we get that far.

Here's to the person who posted about Mark Ridley Thomas. Our own Mayor Villar-stupid jumped on the bandwagon marrying a gay couple first. Why aren't you attacking him? Don't you think that all the Latino catholics in this city ( sorry to say but are still homophobic) are pissed off that he supports gays?

Villaraigosa pulls out of S.F. gay rights event (AP)
SAN FRANCISCO - Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa pulled out as keynote speaker for a gay rights group's fundraising event scheduled for tonight following intense lobbying from transgender activists angry over the group's stand on a federal gay rights bill.
Villaraigosa was scheduled to headline tonight's Human Rights Campaign dinner in San Francisco. San Francisco city officials and many prominent gay rights leaders already had agreed not to attend the event. Szabo, Villaraigosa's spokesman, said the mayor's decision was more a byproduct of the Human Rights Campaign controversy than a snub of the group itself.

6:29: Don't worry that MAV isn't getting enough sh-t on this blog: there's so much lobbed at him, maybe someone wanted to just spread a teeny bit around at someone else. Much as I'm no fan, he gets way more than his share around here and in the media: easier than doing real reporting.

It doesn't help the public, though, and leaves way too many other depts., from the Supervisors to murdering felon-releasing DA Cooley's office (Espinoza and the guy with a restraining order for killing his wife who made good upon release, right before elections when it was covered up, are just 2 examples) get no attention, or just passing notice. I'm a lot more concerned about what the DA's covering up than someone spending a few thou on gas to serve their constituents.

sorry about the repeat: it said blogger error, then posted anyway. If I weren't afraid of sounding as egomaniacal as someone else who posts here there and wherever he can, I'd say it's because it's important...
