Villaraigosa is "unaware." Again!
In the San Jose Mercury News, Mayor Villaraigosa's spokesdeceiver Matt Szabo says that the Mayor was "unaware" that his attending an event was going to ruffle some feathers. So, as we hope he did with Mirthala, the Mayor pulled out.If that doesn't sufficiently perplex you on this last Sunday morning in July, one of Villaraigosa's other spokesdeceivers, Janelle Erickson, must take a lot of antacid with the lies she spews.
In Beth Barrett's article in today's Daily News about the gas guzzlin' ways of City officials, Mizz Erickson said that "the Mayor is leading by example" on this issue. How could anyone reach that conclusion?
If the Micro Mayor is still driving his gas guzzling GMC army tank, how is that "leading by example?" Is she at the point where it doesn't matter what she's being asked, and just rattles positive sounding comments off of her notecards?
We already know that Villaraigosa has no conscience. But the next time anyone wants to get Szabo or Erickson a birthday gift, send them some Maalox or Mylanta, because they must have an upset stomach from doing this for a living.

Erickson said that the mayor is "thinking about" getting a hybrid.
It's an insult for her to suggest that this is the same as leading by example.
The mayor is leading by example in other ways. Just ask John Edwards. Who else cheated on his cancer stricken wife? Who else has an unclaimed child out of wedlock?
John Edwards should have known. Afterall, what is Tony's favorite campaign hit - tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are? The fact that the National Enquirer is telling John who he is has led a a criminal comlaint filing.
Matt Szabo and Janelle are complete idiots. They get paid a lot to spin but the problem is they make the Mayor looked even dumber then he already does with their stupid quotes. FAct is the Mayor IS NOT LEADING BY EXAMPLE BEING DRIVEN IN SUV and let's not forget wastes a lot of water. He doesn't practice what he preaches. The Mayor needs to get new pr spinners.
You know what? When these people talk about the mayor leading by example, they mean that Mayor Tony is leading them by his example; it's become their style "de rigueur."
Just like their boss, they are able to say whatever they want without regard to any relation to truth.
You give them too much credit to say they need something to medicate their bodies from job stress. You have to have some morals in order to feel any guilt. The Transportation appointee of Tony V. had been driving a Humvee. Nice message. And the history of high-volume water consumption is shared by many besides the Mayor.
They don't care. They, as most of the Mayor Tony crew, do whatever is needed to get their payday ensured for a long time and that is the only standard they apply.

Interesting point there about that probably being mailander. Has anyone noticed that he publishes a "well irrigated" entry once or twice a week, and that's it? If you don't count the golf and his supposed interest in the fine arts, he publishes something every two months.
Very good guess 3:14. He tried to do something like mayor sam, and is just doing a half hearted.
Doubt if the story on Edwards is true: then why is the Antonio L.A. Times machine looking to move in and - pardon the pun - cockblock this story.

Let's check back in a month and see how the mayor likes his new hybrid. Folks, it ain't going to happen. He needs a car to fit his ego. The way out will be an expanation that the police insisted that he have something that will run over terrorists or something. It's the same excuse used in the county to give the supes bulletproof cars. Do you know what those things weigh?
If my fellow L.A. idiots re-elect the midget mayor, they deserve him. During his first campaign they had somewhat of an excuse ... they didn't know any better. There's no excuse now. I am so embarrassed that Villamugroso is of Mexican heritage that I'll B.S. others as often as possible to persuade them he's actually of central or south american extraction ... ANYTHING but Mexican! Who in their right mind would wanna claim him????
