This is the city: Los Angeles, California. I work here. I'm an ex-mayor. Los Angeles is a magnet for people from all over the world. Some of them run for public office. Inevitably some of them stray from the golden rule and rule for those that have the gold. That's when I go to work. My name is Yorty. I'm a dead pol.

Thank you, Mrs. Shaw.
You are extraordinarily graceful and generous in this worst possible year.

Pipsqueak Mayors and legions of idiot voters who swallow bullshit hook line and sinker.

251, that's great. NEITHER CITY WANTS ZUMMA DOG.
That's what they have in common!

Well Silicon Valley wants Zuma Dogg.

What else do they have in common... How about 2 stinking, philandering, corrupt lying assholes as mayors

I don't think Zuma Dogg is the problem here. I'm sure San Francisco has their own Zuma Dogg. I appreciate Zuma Dogg! You may not agree with the way he, "says" what he says, but Zuma Dogg is like the Alarm Clock. He's trying to wake people up.
Sometimes when the Alarm Clock goes off you don't want to get up because you're tired....and you get mad. But, don't get mad at the alarm clock. It's just doing it's job.
People are being Murdered! Shot down like it's ok!! Politician's are not being accountable. It's really serious.
I know, I'm Up.

Sorry, Althea, much as I deeply sympathize with you and your family as a mother, after that defense of Zuma Dogg, I'll not support Jamiel's Law or anything related to it.
The way to get what you want is as you and YOUR family have gone about it, not being abusive, slanderous, crude, vulgar and going out of your (I mean the dogg's) way to waste the time of all those people and their staffs sitting there. WE the taxpayers pay for it and he takes advantage to create his own website (that no one posts on, so he shows up here with his epithets), but more importantly, he brings City Government into the sewer and ensures that whatever he's associated with it will be shunned by everyone except publicity-seeking, desperate for attention himself, Z-Man. OF course, it's my personal opinion that the Law was doomed from the start given the confrontational way in which Walter Moore even put down Z-man, the one out-of-the-loop CM already on the outs with Bratten. Associating with the Madd Dogg is certain death, sorry.
I very much want to see illegal (and all other) gangbangers put away, and for the illegals, find a way to get them deported to become the wards of their home countries in prison, not sit forever in our prisons and sneak right back into the country when they're released.
This effort will mean challenging DA Steve Cooley, who's supposed to be in charge of felonies and, with Sheriff Baca's office, is in charge of vetting and ID'ing jail inmates before being released. They're the ones who released your nephew's murderer back onto the streets just because he CLAIMED to have been born in the US. Steve Cooley has hundreds of investigators who are supposed to work with Baca in the prisons -- but it's alleged that he misuses his detectives to intimidate his own Asst. DA's when they get too close to those his friendly criminal attorneys are being paid by. But the way Jamiel's Law has been put forth and your reveling in Madd Dogg turning City Hall from civilized to a social toilet bowl, has doomed it.
Try again with the right approach.
Congrats to you all, though, for putting this vital issue into the public consciousness.

If you don't support Jamiel's Law, because I think Zuma Dogg is not the problem, then so be it.
San Francisco and Los Angeles are Sanctuary Cities to illegal alien gangbangers. That's the problem.
Men are being released from LA County jails and their immigration status is not being checked on the way in or on the way out, that's the problem.
The City Council won't bring Jamiel's Law to the Council floor to openly discuss the problem they have with Jamiel's Law or Zine's Motion, that's the problem.
All these gang intervention programs that don't seem to be working, that's the problem.
Politician's that forgot about American Citizen's, that's the problem.
Zuma Dogg does not hold a Political, Official, Office. He's not my problem. Maybe yours, but not mine!
