Senator Clinton Takes West Virginia

Cue the John Denver song and allow me a shout-out to Coro alumna Dr. Shelley Savage of the Mountaineer state, Senator Clinton has won today's West Virginia primary. Although pundits and political observers say the nomination race is all but over, Clinton picks up at least 15 of the 28 delegates at stake and now has 1,712 out of 2,025 needed (or 2,209 if you're drinking the Terry McAuliffe kool-aid) to "clinch" the nomination.

Hillary Clinton
Despite the turnout among her "broader base" of a certain kind of "hard-working Americans," many in the Democratic Party feel she has already jumped the shark and increasing the chances of a Republican third presidential term. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens on May 20th--the date of the Kentucky and Oregon primaries--or May 31st--the day of the DNC Rules & Bylaws Committee Meeting--or June 3rd--the last two primaries in South Dakota and Montana.

Clinton won West Virginia by reminding the low class, welfare receiving Appalachians that Obama is a Negro.

The Appalachians are about as close as a whitey can come to living like a Mexican.

Guess no one knew Obama was a "negro," certainly not himself, what with the way he's flaunting his bigot pastor, anti-American, racist AND stupid. Naw, no body done seen that.

Mayor:

You need to get back to local politics, Look at the "Independent Expenditure" Committee that has just started doing huge IEs for Bob Blumenfield called "Valley Democrats for Change" It is funded with $100K from Berman for Congress and $120 K from Bob's dad! That's independent?

Looks like the Waldman campaign is starting to feel the pain over Blumenfield's latest hit piece.

Let's get something clear here: The majority of the Piedmont population that was born and raised a mountaineer are American Indian half-breeds and not all "whiteys". And the average West Virginian is better educated than the average Californian. Take a look at the state education ranking and test scores and then tell me that we're low class. There are more masters degree holders there than here, because even if we do receive welfare, at least we're smart enough to stay in school all the way through to college. So until the test scores and state education rankings improve dramatically in this here state, you might want to think twice about who you call low class. As for Clinton, the only reason she won was that she managed to catch all the miners on a good day when production was slow. Everyone else is a Republican.
