Looks like a copied press release and not original MS writing. That could be more distressing though.

This probably won't get approved. Oh never mind.

Yay Chamber endorsement.. Woo Hoo, always the best ones to get. So you all know where Stuart's loyalties would lie.

He got the unions' endorsements too. That doesn't happen often to get both.
Stuart's a Democrat but if more Republicans and Democrats were like him, we'd be better off.

Oh please Michael. He has really pulled the wool over your eyes. I'm not sure what you ever witnessed him accomplish that would command your loyalty like that.
My experience with him is that he just doesn't take a stand on hard issues. Rather than fight for the right thing, Stuart goes with where the votes are. He's desperate to be an elected official. I like my politicians (whether they are men or women) to have big balls and to tell me straight up where they stand. I hate wishy-washy.
I am sick of the Chambers and Labor both right now. Neither of them are doing what is best for the city. They are the problems. They create our problems here. They don't add anything to the betterment of our city.
Of course, until we have clean money, we'll continue to have weak candidates who pander to both groups and INEVITABLY one of those groups will be screwed over by the politicians vote. Then they can all run here and post about how freaking awful their candidate turned out to be and what a liar they turned out to be because they weren't smart enough to see it in the first place.
Chambers and Labor just don't mix well. They are too dedicated to their own special interests and they both take money from their lower level employees to spend the way their own specially elected or appointed leaders want to. They are equally repugnant to me.

Levine and Hertzberg are co- candidates? That's how it sounds from what you wrote.
Hertzberg sure is mentioned a lot on this blog, and only here. He's been gone so many years no one remembers him, and even those who do, couldn't point to one accomplishment. Give it up already.
Levine is being made fun of on the Daily News Opinion, though, for another idea to raise taxes on business or consumers by another Democrat with too much time on his hands to think up silly laws, instead of getting rid of illegal gang members -- which would save us 1/3 of prison costs off the bat. As Arnold-turned wimp is wanting $7 billion for prison healthcare.
