This is one great reason to vote NO on Prop S

This person was paid with your tax dollars.

Hector Marroquin is a member of the Mexican Mafia who created a facade called "No Guns" that your tax dollars paid for.

This was done under the auspices of the LA Bridges Anti Gang Program that has to this day been a source of fraud and waste.

Likely if you live in a gang prone neighborhood, you have come across programs paid for with funds allocated through the LA Bridges Program. And likely you have seen examples of the waste the cause John Perez to lose his job at the Community Developement Department.

The LA Weekly did a great job in highlighting the fraud and waste in their article entitle "Broken Bridges".

For three months after the recent home-invasion robbery arrest of Hector Jr. and
the weapons-possession arrest of Hector Sr., L.A. Bridges director John Chavez
went limp. Chavez actually extended No Guns’ contract an additional month, while
he obsessed over whether the No Guns debacle would hurt the image of Mayor
Antonio Villaraigosa. Moreover, Chavez’s first impulse was to act as apologist
for the Marroquins, e-mailing a City Hall colleague: “Hector Jr. alleges that
there is a personal issue with one [police] officer against the Marroquin
family.”

One for example can walk the streets of CD 14 and come across workers of a "THREE LETTER ORGANIZATION" with close ties to the Mayor and local councilman, who get paid from your tax dollars to "BROWN BAG IT" with the homies.

Yet as Angelinos get ready to vote on Prop S, no audit as been completed to account for all the money allocated to the LA Bridges Program.

Police Chief Bill Bratton can shill till the polls closes about you voting yes on Prop S. Yet he could put his political capital to better use in investigating how people like Marroquin can defraud the tax payers.

No audit on LA Bridges = No on Prop S!!

You got that right about city giing $1.5 million to Hector and his hommies and familia to abuse. But the idiot council members ARE STILL GIVING MONEY TO THEM. Where is Laura Chick's audit? Could it be Antonio told her to hold it until AFTER the election? $82 million wasted as Connie Rice says and not one word about doing anything about it. Remember THREE (3) gang prevention guys arrested on felonies and the city gave them money.

exactly right about the council members.

so the correct action is recall.
or vote them out next time around.

but as we said before, take away this money and this council will turn around and slash it from other places where you really will feel it.
all of you.

This is what happens in cities like Cudahy which are like an extension of Tijuana, with corrupt city officials and mexican mafia criminals involved in politics.

Los Angeles has an army of sureno gang members under the control of the mexican mafia prison gang. And we still let more mexicans sneak into the city to add to the thousands of mexican gang members already in California.

There are unknown number of rich mexican drug lords moving into legit enterprises in California to hide drug profits and continue dealing large quantities of drugs to mexican street gangs.

See what retired gang cop has to say about this.

He was not referring to John A. Perez!! John A. Perez is on the CRA Board. The "John Perez" Mayor Sam was referring to who lost his job worked in the CDD.

This woman and her young child came to the US illegally about eighteen years ago. She met this fellow and had three other children with him. Her partner has had add jobs for many years, one of them selling contraband MTA tickets. One of her sons is involved with graffiti. Now this woman and her first child have received their immigration papers she wants to apply for monetary help and her daughter is talking about getting pregnant so she can draw aid too and we are so stupid that we’ll give it to them. One thing is to be compassionate and another is to be a fool.

Maybe the best way for Angelenos to get mad about how our taxes are spent is to feel it. Right now, only those who really follow the dollar see what is happening. It doesn't seem to be enough to create a change. Big impacts prompt big change. Vote NO on S.
