A "RISING STAR" will dim on Super Tuesday???

Buzz....and flying ash trays!!
and somewhere a "NATIONAL CO-CHAIR" is feeling the wrath of the wife who wants to be President.

Once, not long ago in political time, a "RISING STAR" was asked to be the the latino face of change. Change that is to a past where in eight years "PAY TO PLAY" ment playing under the sheets in the Lincoln Bedroom or getting a "PARDON" for past misdeeds ala Vignali.

Of course that "RISING STAR" would like you to continue paying a dime on the dollar, minus an centavo to use your cell phones and Internet, but I digress.

The "RISING STAR" burning carbon like he burns his past friends and shall we add relationships?, headed out in his quest sell us on a wife for President, with an Ace and a Mike to help with the message. Seems there was some problems with the Mike yesterday but at least no children were affected.

From Iowa, to Vegas, with timeout for some tacos at the "KING OF TACOS" on Cesar Chavez, the "RISING STAR" was front and center with the wife, leading the myopic masses in chants, cheers, and gyrations that would remind some of a "O FOR HAHN".

But as the "RISING STAR" move from place to place in the political universe, did he pause to see who would join him in creating the politcal constellation of the wife who demanded what her husband once was??

Some did.

A certain dimming "WINE STAR" was there, with the "HUIZZY STAR" which always follows the "RISING STAR" in the political night sky. But the "LADY STARS OF LABOR"?? Durazo and Grajeda, they chose to become part of the "NEBULA" that gave birth to the "STAR OF OBAMA".

And according to today's latest poll, many will join in creating the legend of the "OBAMA CONSTELLATION"

Thus when we look up to our local political sky after Tuesday in the place where the "RISING STAR" should be, what will one see?? One can say that on the brightness scale for stars, a "Magnitude 30" might suffice.
****RASMUSSEN POLL:CA: Obama 45% Clinton 44%

Every time you forward an email there is information left over from the people who got the message before you, namely their email addresses and names. As the messages get forwarded along, the list of addresses builds, and builds, and builds, and all it takes is for some poor sap to get a virus, and his or her computer can send that virus to every email address that has come across his computer. Or, someone can take all of those addresses and sell them.

(1) When you forward an email, DELETE all of the other addresses that appear in the body of the message (at the top). That's right, DELETE them. Highlight them and delete them, backspace them, cut them, whatever it is you know how to do. I t only takes a second. Note: You MUST click the "Forward" button first and then you will have full editing capabilities against the body and headers of the message. If you don't click on "Forward" first, you won't be able to edit the message at all.

(2) Whenever you send an email to more than one person, Do NOT use the To: or Cc: fields for adding email addresses. Always use the BCC:(blind carbon copy) field for listing ALL the email addresses. This is the way the people you send to will only see their own email address. If you don't see your BCC: option click on where it says To: and your address list will appear. Highlight the address and choose BCC: and that's it, it's that easy. When you send to BCC: your message will automatically say "Undisclosed Recipients in the "TO:" field of the people who receive it.

(3) Remove any "FW :" in the subject line. You can re-name the subject if you wish or even fix spelling

(4) Have you ever gotten an email that is a petition? It states a position and asks you to add your name and address and to forward it to 10 or 15 people e or your entire address book. The email can be forwarded on and on and can collect thousands of names and email addresses. A FACT: The completed petition is actually worth a couple of bucks to a professional spammer because of the wealth of valid names and email addresses contained therein. D O NOT put your email address on any petition. If you want to support the petition, send it as your own personal letter to the intended recipient. Your position may carry more weight as a personal letter than a laundry list of names and email addresses on a petition. (And don't believe the ones that say that the email is being traced; it just ain't so!)
ACTUAL FACT: Most e-mail petitions are worthless because they do not fully identify the signer by street address, etc. nor does it prove that the signer really signed it. Don't forward them.

Also get rid of the advertisements at the bottom of your emails! You pay for your Internet why advertise free for them?

I could not read past the first sentence of my beloved Red Spotted Burro's commentary. I feel I have failed in my duties to educate the illiterate kids of LAUSD.

The wordy is "tray" my little Red Burro. I needed to smack the Red Burro with my large wood ruler more often, way back in the fifth grade. I promise I will use my large wood ruler more often on my current herd of Burros.

That's what happens when you pick a "driver" to run a "historic" campaign.

It seems as if al the stars are lining up for Obama. Has anyone ever seen such a meteoric rise in presidential politics?

Antonio must be "green" with envy - but Parke will just chalk it up to his newfound "environmental" mantra.

Two national campaigns imploded (Kerry now Clinton)and both sharing the same fuse - Antonio.

Who is running Obama's campaign in California?

Ace and Mike at work.

Ed Coghlan was just starting to prepare his dinner in the northern San Fernando Valley the other night when the phone rang. The caller was very friendly. He identified himself as a pollster who wanted to ask registered independents like Coghlan a few questions about the presidential race and all the candidates for Super Tuesday's California primary.

Ed, who's a former news director for a local TV station, was curious. He said, "Sure, go ahead."

But a few minutes into the conversation Ed says he noticed a strange pattern developing to the questions. First of all, the "pollster" was only asking about four candidates, three Democrats -- Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards, who was still in the race at the time -- and one Republican -- John McCain.

Also, every question about Clinton was curiously positive, Coghlan recalls. The caller said things like, if you knew that Sen. Clinton believed the country had a serious home mortgage problem and had made proposals to....

freeze mortgage rates and save families from foreclosure, would you be more likely or less likely to vote for her?

Ed said, of course, more likely.

Every question about the other candidates was negative. If Ed knew, for instance, that as a state senator Obama had voted "present" 43 times instead of taking a yes or no stand "for what he believed," would Ed be more or less likely to vote for him?

"That's when I caught on," said Coghlan. He realized then that he was being push-polled. That malicious political virus that is designed not to elicit answers but to spread positive information about one candidate and negative information about all others under the guise of an honest poll had arrived in Southern California within days of the important election.

It could become an issue in the closing hours of the campaign.

Someone who obviously favors Hillary Clinton is paying an unidentified company to spread this material phone call by phone call among independent voters, who can, according to California party rules, opt to vote in the Democratic but not the Republican primary on Feb. 5, when nearly two dozen states will choose a large chunk of the delegates to the parties' national conventions next summer.

Coghlan said he was offended by such underhanded tactics and knew he was going to get out a warning about this dirty trick, but he said he played along for the full 20-minute "poll."

"The guy was very slick, very personable," Coghlan told the Ticket. "He never fell out of character as a pollster the entire time. He seemed interested in my answers and just kept going through his list of questions as if he was noting my answers. He was very good, very smooth."

For instance, the caller inquired, had Ed watched a recent Democratic debate? Ed said yes. And who did Ed think had won the debate? the pollster inquired.

Coghlan replied, honestly, that he thought Edwards had won because he was calmer and more reasoned didn't get involved in all the petty arguing and finger-pointing like the other two. Now, the pollster said, if Ed knew that most people believed John Edwards could not get elected in a general election, would Ed be more or less likely to vote for him?

Ed said, oh, well then, less, of course. And the caller appeared to make a note of that.

"He was not pushy at all," Coghlan said. "And at the end he thanked me for giving him my opinions."

Phil Singer, the spokesman for the Clinton campaign. was contacted by e-mail last night. He answered that he was there. He was asked if the Clinton campaign was behind the push-poll, knew who was behind it or had any other information on it. That was at 5:27 p.m. Pacific time Saturday. As of this item's posting time, exactly eight hours later, no reply had been received.

Pretty lame endorsement when Jabba the Hut Lesbo Molina comes out at the last minute only when Antonio had to promise to share national co chair with her. She got booed loud yesterday at Cal State LA. Sad that the Clintons with all their so called power had to resort to dirty politics, racism, negativity and now it backfired. AT least Obama is running an honest, positive campaign and he's too close to call. WE hope Karma is a bitch and teaches Antonio, Fabian, Molina, and the rest of Billary croonies a lesson
