Wonder Twin Powers ... Activate!

Wow. Just … wow. In an amazing show of support for Barack Obama, our lovely First Lady of Cahleefornya Maria Shriver joined Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and BFF-Cousin Caroline Kennedy on stage today at UCLA.

"If Barack Obama was a state he'd be California," Shriver said, drawing roars from the crowd. "I mean think about it: diverse, open, smart, independent, oppose tradition, innovative, inspiring, dreamer, leader."

Wow. Just … wow. You go girls!

How did it all go so wrong, Hillary? I'll give you a hint: it rhymes with "I'll Bone You, Oh! Villar Mugroso".

New York Giants just won a photo against the Patriots. God gave them an incredible miracle play in the final minute.
Eli Manning was caught in the pocket by maybe three defenders, then somehow shimmied out of their grasp, got a pass downfield to a receiver who juggled the ball behind his head, in a tackle, but somehow held on, then the subsequent play produced the game winner.

its a miracle. they were toast until that play.

Shriver's endorsing Obama because he's "diverse" and opposes convention is a dreamer and all the other crap, instead of anything of substance, is typical of his supporters' emptiness.

If Calif voters buy this, they're as stupid as the rest of the country thinks they are. This is the same kind of crap the LA Times used, that Obama is "poem" and Hillary is a "well-reasoned essay." Give me the reasoned essay any day when it comes to a President, dummy.

And Obrah having the nerve to tell women that "as free people, it's okay to vote your mind," instead of for a woman -- is so-o-o- insulting. Who does Oprah think she is, to tell women they're free to use their own minds?

And Shriver making an issue of Obama's color as "diverse" as Cali is playing the race card like his side always does, then denies it.

Of course it's good enough "logic" for airheads like Miss Valley Doll, who actually boasts that Mr. Doll commutes from the west valley to downtown in a gas-guzzing SUV for their own financial benefit -- but is too dense to see that it's people like them who are creating the congestion and pollution in LA.

Before some nitwit accuses me of being a Hillary Op, forget it -- I'm not even a Democrat. I'm going for McCain because the Dems will raise taxes to the tune of hundreds of billions and cut tax credits to those who work, really turning this into a welfare state.

Obama got the endorsement of La Opinion because he pandered worse than her -- they loved his promising to make legalizing the illegals his priority first year in office, and to give them licenses.

Best McCain - Romney proposal: to eliminate or seriously reduce the inheritance tax. (Dems want to go in the other direction, maybe cutting Prop 13.) It's so unfair for a middle-class family to work hard for a generation to buy a vacation home and some modest stuff that makes life a little more comfortable and gives you a safety net in case you have to sell -- but the government take almost all. Only the very rich know how to play the right financial games.

I'm ready for more poems, less essays, thanks.

Who does she think she is? Ummm, a bazillionaire who's made more money than gawd telling women they're free to use their own minds. Wait, that IS Oprah, right? Or am I thinking of Uma?

Of course it's good enough "logic" for airheads like Miss Valley Doll, who actually boasts that Mr. Doll commutes from the west valley to downtown in a gas-guzzing SUV for their own financial benefit -- but is too dense to see that it's people like them who are creating the congestion and pollution in LA.

Dearest 7:35,

I am so sorry your reading comprehension is as lacking in the bulge as your spinning skills.

I believe you refer to this statement I made in a past post:

"Mr. Valley Doll rolls with the boys at 210 W. Temple, 18th floor. And after numerous times being trapped in those ancient, crappy CCB elevators for over half an hour, he only takes the stairs now. And if you think he enjoys that commute (through rain and sleet and snow and all that other crap ...) you're even sillier than I thought."

Spinsteraholesayswhat?: Of course it's good enough "logic" for airheads like Miss Valley Doll, who actually boasts that Mr. Doll commutes from the west valley to downtown in a gas-guzzing SUV for their own financial benefit -- but is too dense to see that it's people like them who are creating the congestion and pollution in LA

"People like them". How polarizing. How familiar. But that's funny... I never even said Mr. Doll drove a gas guzzling SUV to work! He doesn't. Nice spin shot, tho'! I drive the SUV babe, sorry. And I'm not ashamed of it, because it allows me to help (in my own little, tiny way) my friends, who often need help schlepping their kids to and fro school, not to mention all the fun afterschool activities! And all of it locally, so don't worry, I'm not congesting your precious side of town. My Mommy Taxi is just that ... a mass transit vehicle ... used to transport a heap o' kids to three different schools; a carload of cuties for Brownie trips; the Varsity golf team to practice.

You try fitting 7 high school boys and 7 golf bags into a Prius. I can only imagine the fit would be as tight and uncomfortable as your poor internal anal sphincter.

Deal, sweetie. I'm not using the SUV to cart home my purchases from a day of shopping on Robertson, or as a fashion accessory on my way to lunch at the Ivy. [pfft. I'd rather have the lunch special at Los Toros or Pagoda Inn! Mmmm... Pagoda Inn!]

Before some nitwit accuses me of being a Hillary Op, forget it -- I'm not even a Democrat.

Uh huh. :)

Los Angeles is the gang capital of the world thanks to all the illegal immigrants. Maybe the next president should live in Highland Park or East Los Angeles and send their kids to LAUSD schools and then they will really know about illegal immigration.

Here is a story about what happens in a small quite town like Monrovia, Ca. when too many illegal aliens move in.

Racially-charged violence puts Monrovia on edge

Officials have called in extra officers from surrounding cities and gang investigators from Los Angeles after three shooting deaths.
By Sam Quinones, Los Angeles Times Staff Writer

February 4, 2008

Monrovia always had big dreams of remaining a small town.

Today it is home to a number of national retailers, a cafe-lined downtown and one of the largest concentrations of high-tech firms in the San Gabriel Valley, all spread at the foot of a majestic mountain range.

"There's a feeling about this town that keeps me here," said Keith Ganley, a local resident and teacher. "People like Monrovia because it's the closest thing any of us know in the San Gabriel Valley to a small town."

But in recent weeks, the usually tranquil town of 39,000 and surrounding communities have been jolted by a surge in violence between warring Latino and black gangs that has left three dead and one paralyzed. Two of those killed -- 64-year-old Sanders "Pete" Rollins, a black man, and 16-year-old Sammantha Salas, a Latina -- had no gang affiliation.

Police said the spate of violence coincided with the release in December of parolees who returned home to the area. They were members of rival area gangs: Monrovia Nuevo Varrio, a Latino gang, and the Du Roc Crips.

During the 1990s, the Mexican Mafia prison gang extended its power to the streets, controlling Latino gangs and forcing them to tax drug dealers, police and gang members say. It also ordered Latino gangs to attack black rivals

An article below by By Jill Leovy of Los Angeles times who wrote the Homide report and knows the seedy side of Los Angeles. And Mayor Villa-Baboso keeps inviting more illegal aliens into the gang capital of the world.

Unlimited space for untold sorrow

As a Times reporter's online list of each L.A. County homicide grew, overlooked patterns of race and place evoked anger and empathy.

By Jill Leovy, Los Angeles Times
February 4, 2008

This newspaper typically covers about 10% of the homicides in Los Angeles County each year. They are often the most sensational or shocking: a baby hit by a stray bullet, or a celebrity murder.

But for the last year, the paper's website, latimes.com, has recorded every homicide. It was my idea. I reported on crime for the paper, and I wanted readers to see all the killings -- roughly 1,000 violent deaths each year, mostly of young Latinos and, most disproportionately, of young black men. The Web offered what the paper did not: unlimited space.

I just saw the Hillary commercial targeted to Latinos - the one were she is using Cesar Chavez grandson.

What an abuse of his legacy. Hillary was opposed to unionizing Mexican workers when she was on the board of Wal-Mart! Did Cesar Chavez die of a heart attack brought on by the stress of a lawsuit filed against the UFW by a union busting corporation - like Wal-Mart?

Does Cesar's grandson know this or he is just thrilled that his aunt Dolores Huerta and sellout Antonio Villaraigosa got to appear on stage with Hillary and Bill? Or maybe he doesn't care since he and his family have been living high on the hog after Cesar's death with all those union dues and donations they are bilking.

What's next, an exhumation of Cesar's body?

.....In Health Debate, Clinton Remains Vague on Penalties
By KEVIN SACK
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton inched closer Sunday to explaining how she would enforce her proposal that everyone have health insurance, but declined to specify — as she has throughout the campaign — how she would penalize those who refuse.

Mrs. Clinton, who did not answer Senator Barack Obama’s question on the topic in a debate last Thursday, was pressed repeatedly to do so Sunday by George Stephanopoulos on the ABC program “This Week.” When Mr. Stephanopoulos asked a third time whether she would garnish people’s wages, Mrs. Clinton responded, “George, we will have an enforcement mechanism, whether it’s that or it’s some other mechanism through the tax system or automatic enrollments.”

You know that DeNiro only bangs black women, so how shocking is it that he's going for Obama.

To the person who cites Obama's Yale degree and some legal work for the poor as a credential for becoming President: that's just the minimum to become a jr. partner in a law firm buddy, you're to totally clueless.

Maybe when Obama grows up and has some real experience, other than just 3 years on the Senate, he can try again. How pathetic is it that this phony with his preacher talk, and claims to be the heir to every movement from women's suffrage to emancipation of the slaves to freeing the Jews and Russian peasants from fascism (not kidding, that's what he says in his speeches that bamboozle the vapid masses), is making experience a BAD thing -- because he doesn't have any.

It was Bill and Hillary and their generation who fought and marched for civil rights, that made it possible for him to be where he is.

Pleassseee calm down Billary supporter. Its too late to try and dog Obama now. He's so close to Hillary in the polls they can't even call it. Billary negated the work of Martin Luther King weeks ago and basically stated if it wasn't for LBJ no civil rights bills would have been passed. All bullshit of course. And your immaturity at stating that Robert De Niro only bangs black women shows your really sad uneducated, lack of class ansd character. Only a BILLARY supporter would state something that low class. Robert De Niro has been active in Democratic politics for years and we all know that.

.....WASHINGTON — To hear Hillary Clinton talk, she's spent her entire career putting her Yale Law School degree to work for the common good...Clinton worked at the Children's Defense Fund for less than a year, and that's the only full-time job in the nonprofit sector she's ever had. She also worked briefly as a law professor.

Clinton spent the bulk of her career — 15 of those 35 years — at one of Arkansas' most prestigious corporate law firms, where she represented big companies and served on corporate boards.

DON'T FORGET HILLARY WAS ON THE WAL MART BOARD AND DID NOTHING FOR MINIORITIES TO GET HEALTH INSURANCE.

1:33: You sound like a black racist and denyer of history, or are just too stupid to have ever read it.

LBJ did indeed sign into legislation the grand "vision" of MLK -- in those days MLK had no clout, not the social momentum blacks have now, it was all the opposite. It took guts for white people in power like LBJ to risk their political base to do what he did. And it took guts for Bill and Hillary to do what they did in a deep south state in the 70's and 80's.

To call someone out for dissing MLK for stating the facts, is so racist and stupid, it's beyond dangerously sad. Shame on you, Bernie Jr.

At least Maxine Waters has the decency not to trash history to jump on the nearest new phony freight train rolling through. G-d help us if racists and denyers of history like you claim victory by hanging onto Obama's coattails. If Bill and Hillary can be called racist after their life records because fools like you prefer lies to history, Shame on you and G-d help us all.

I'm supporting McCain although I hate his stance on the war, because look where Bill and Hillary's decades of work for the minorities and poor have gotten them, after one inexperienced phony's supporters don't like one comment. McCain knows better than to pander for a vote and to look at the economy as the bottom line. (Except for the damn waste on the war.)
