Clinton "LITTLE O TONIO" Yell Leader Watch, Day Three

Just as Rolando "BIG O" Cuevas felt in the waning days in the 2005 Mayoral race, Mayor "LITTLE O TONIO" Villaraigosa is feeling it today.
The feeling that many of your political friends are joining the masses gravitated by the "FRESH MESSAGE" of hope and change, some thing you once were, but failing to achieve and live up to the promise, many no longer rallying to your support.
Maria Elena Durazo, Gloria Romero, Gill Cedillo and others are no longer swayed by your pronoucments. Even your "COMADRE MARIA" will cross your path in the days ahead campaigning for Obama. How does that hurt??
In Nevada, the leading newspaper, The Las Vegas Review Journal has given their Democratic endorsement to Obama. The unions you worked in solidarity are joining with Obama, thus being targeted by the Clintons with lawsuits to limit their role in Saturday's Caucus. Union brothers and sisters who must be questioning the motives of Antonio.
Back in Los Angeles in the days ahead, union members will wonder if you will live up to your contract pledges, contracts that were approved without the foresight to gauge their impact upon a city budget full of false mirrors of fiscal promise.
Empty promises that have forced the unions to spend $$$$ to secure for them what we, the average Angelino, will have to pay for. NO on PROP S!!! for absentee leadership.

On another front.
N.H. Primary Democratic Re-count Underway..CONCORD, N.H.Secretary of State William Gardner says his office is ready for Wednesday's re-count of New Hampshire's Democratic presidential primary.

Democrat Dennis Kucinich has paid $27,000 to Gardner's office to start the re-count. Election officials tell WBZ-TV that the recount could take up to a month.

Kucinich, who received less than 2 percent of the vote, says he is suspicious of the results, although he doesn't expect a re-count to change his vote count much. Kucinich alluded to online reports alleging disparities around the state between hand-counted ballots, which tended to favor Sen. Barack Obama, and machine-counted ones that tended to favor Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. He also noted the difference between pre-election polls, which indicated Obama would win, and Clinton's triumph by a 39 percent to 37 percent margin.

JUST THRWING THIS OUT THERE, AS LARRY ELDER SAYS, (I have an immense amount of respect for him).

All events seen on TV and in the media are roughly equal in the minds of most (passive) viewers. Thus Britney's breakdown, the ads for say Geico and the Hillary/Obama race hold the same importance in the subconscious of sleepless America. The only difference is one of degree. How many minutes per person are spent viewing Hillary/Obama/McCain/Romney balderdash, how many minutes are spent viewing Britney Spears/Lohan/Paris Hilton crap, how many are spent viewing Iraq news, etc. You will notice that there is almost NO Iraq news being broadcast. And you will further notice that it has dropped out of the Great Debate. The speechwriters, candidates and campaign managers are also sleepless.

May I share a comment I recieved lately? It goes...

FROM SLAMING "RED DEVIL" SAMMY, CASTIGADOR AND BAD ASS,

What ABC News says is generally thought to be more important than what The National Enquirer reports, etc. Who "controls" all of this? Well, there are certainly vectors of power at work. Power comes from the barrel of a money gun, to paraphrase Mao Zedong. But here is the rub. It is now OUT of control. The CIA certainly has its networks and individual reporter/producer assets, as does say the NeoCon/AIPAC brigade. But basically this system has evolved…devolved is probably a better word…into a larger version of the cable TV system. (The concept of “As above, so below” at work yet again.) Hundreds of special interests all vectoring for power and position. And as a result…the shit goes almost NOWHERE. It waffles. It wanders. It quagmires. And it loses as a result.
Solution?
Probably…in a benevolent world…a breakup on the order of what happened to the USSR. Turbulence followed by a sort of renaissance in an economic sense.
Possibly…if you believe that there either is no unifying arc of a moral universe (“The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” Martin Luther King Jr.) or that this justice of which MLK Jr. spoke demands the blood of many Americans or even many humans regardless of nationality…a nuclear, biologic or environmental collapse.
If this stuff makes no sense, that OK because I'm writing while on a TWINKIE sugar high. Just remember this in life, "always keep the horse in front of the cart" - Descartes

END.

LOL Pal.

“Son there's much to learn in this life”.
And so there beneath a tree, he sat me on his knee
He said “There's dangers in this world.
So follow my advice”….

Don't mess around with Valley Neighbourhood Councils
Don't play with your new chainsaw in the tub
Don't let His Nibbs give roses to his girlfriend
Especially if her husband just bought a gun.
Don’t ever ask “Are you one of the pirates?”
Unless you’ve got insurance on your life.
And please don’t drink all alone at Hooter's
You’ll wake up engaged to take an ugly wife.

And don't ever give a camera to the Mayor.
He'll preen and pose and smile till he explodes.
And don't ask the Clowncil to your house for supper,
Unless you're sure they'll all fit in the stove.
And don't take your kids to visit with Don Jose
Unless you don’t mind perverts with light bulbs.
And don't swat a fly that's landed on a pitbull
Unless you aren't too drunk enough to run.

And don't ever put pure jet fuel in your Beemer
Cause now your pal Don Culo's on the moon.
They say he left a trail of pinche matter
and NASA said he won't be back real soon.
And don't take advice unless it's from your daddy
Even if your mother says “You ain't my son”.
Don’t try to screw with Valley Neighbourhood Councils
Unless you aren't too drunk enough to run…One more time, lads!
Unless you aren't too drunk enough to run.

(Bard steps down and Captain Jack whispers confidentially) Convinced? For surely nobody has a bard like ours, savvy?

Walking up the stairs to this years elections will only get more contentious and whoever it is we elect to lead us may God give that person an insightful and unerring eye to deal with the emphatic clang of the world. http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-boyle11jan11,1,6169494.story
Towering ambitions for Boyle Heights...Condos, rentals and retail, with some high-rises, are planned for the sprawling site of the 1930s Wyvernwood apartments.
....Wyvernwood Garden Apartments in the heart of East Los Angeles, the electricity often goes off if you try to run a toaster and a coffeepot at the same time. No cable TV, no high-speed Internet, no air conditioning.

The orange stucco buildings in Boyle Heights, home to about 6,000 residents, are showing their age. The neighborhood has been troubled by crime and gang activity for more than a decade. And what was once "America's largest privately owned community of rental homes" is ready for another giant step.

Thursday the residents got word about dramatic changes ahead, as urban redevelopment -- already remaking Hollywood, Echo Park and downtown -- appears ready to leap across the Los Angeles River. And with it comes excitement and angst about how gentrification will change the old neighborhood.

The Miami investment firm that has owned Wyvernwood since 1998 announced plans for a $2-billion redevelopment that would nearly quadruple its size by 2020. By then, all 1,187 existing units would be replaced with 4,400 environmentally sensitive condominiums and apartments, plus retail space.

Owners said they hoped to be leaders in a revival of Boyle Heights that would bring large-scale residential and commercial investment to some of the city's oldest districts. Developers are jockeying to buy another neighborhood landmark, the historic Sears tower and warehouse on Olympic Boulevard, a few blocks away.

"It's an exciting time for Boyle Heights," said City Councilman Jose Huizar, who has lived in the Latino neighborhood most of his life. He supports plans for Wyvernwood but also put the owners on notice that the tenants must be a priority. He vowed that the city approval process would include substantial public comment.(LIAR LIAR LILAR LIAR)

"The developer's executive vice president, Steven Fink, sought to put tenants at ease in a low-key meeting Thursday night for about 200 residents. The development would take at least two years to get city approvals and 10 years more for the stage-by-stage transformation of Wyvernwood, he said. "No one will be asked to move for any reason associated with this plan until absolutely necessary. . . . We are years away from beginning construction," Fink said. Residents offered a variety of comments, including concerns about expected rent hikes, increased density and crime protection. The landlord assured tenants they would be eligible for relocation payments if forced to move.

Santiago's analogy of us wallista's without Wally's blog, being totally disconnected and fractured, floating aimlessly out in a vast ether net of substandard blogs, like ghosts floating between worlds without substance, great!
Also his story on Carrillo’s, the menudo on a Sunday AM, and every type of LA character, Jura's, Paisa,s, Gavacho's and Chicano's all bonding by a love of Mexican food, and culture, great story Santiago. Santiago left out some pertinent street info though, how do these cops eat their Menudo?

What will happen when Mexico and California become one. We will be just like Mexico where the corrupt police and drug cartels all work together to eliminate any non-coperative cop.

http://www.npr.org/templates/story/
story.php?storyId=18146241

A wave of violence is sweeping through the Mexican border city of Tijuana, which lies just south of San Diego.

Three high-ranking police officers were killed, along with the wife and child of one of the officers.

At a midday press conference at the police station, police officers hid their faces behind black masks and had their machine guns at the ready.

Grim-faced law enforcement officials descended from a parade of black, armored sport utility vehicles. They went inside to face a room that overflowed with reporters.

Tijuana's top security chief Alberto Capella recounted the events.

Officers Killed

Capella said it began with a call at 10:40 p.m. Monday reporting gunfire near one of Tijuana's main traffic arteries.

Officers arrived and found the district's police chief slumped over his steering wheel with half his face shot off. His second-in-command was in the passenger's seat, riddled with bullets.

Another high-ranking police commander was later found shot dead in his bed. His wife and the couple's 11-year-old daughter were also killed. Their 4-year-old daughter was wounded.

Police are tight-lipped about the details and motives for the murders. But Baja California's attorney general believes the case is tied to drug cartels.

I just think you have one obsessive compulsive person with emotional weakness. At one time, they may have been executing a 3rd floor strategy, but now he kinda flew off the rails of the emotional crazy train...and now the 3rd floor's actual attempts have been all diluted and neutralized by this person.

But he's amusing the HELL out of HIMSELF! (He really DOES find himself to be quite clever. Except no one cares about the things he chooses to be clever about. Kinda like a falling tree in the woods that no one hears...or pays attention to.)

I would have more respect for the blogger if they would stick to two or three personas (for different issues, or opinion personas)...BUT HAS TO STOP THE BACK AND FORTH TALKING TO HIMSELF --- ESPECIALLY THE ANONYMOUS COMMENTS ABOUT HIMSELF. If he is able to do that...then I am sure I would be a fan of the blogger, because whether I am agreeing with him or not,he is at least capable of providing the best opposition out there. (Villaraigosa should aks one of his monikers to post the "yes on s" argument. NOT THAT I WOULD SUPPORT THE POSITION...but at least it's better than any shady bullshit from the people who wrote the ballot argument. (Hi Jason! How's Eric?)
