Mayor Sam's Hotsheet for Tuesday
It's not just Zuma Dogg that's displeased with fellow Mirthala banger California Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez' jet setting lifestyle, one of the more mild mannered (and that's putting it lightly) members of the blog-LA-sphere - Zach Behrens of LAist, the Sherman Oaks Blog and the alleged voice behind the now even more anoymous CityNerd - is calling for Nunez' outster based on reports from of multiple high end junkets in a recent LA Times article.
He may want to be the Steve Jobs of education and he's starting off on the right foot - Green Dot Schools founder Steve Barr showed up to a neighborhood council meeting and showed off his new iPhone.
The MTA is considering whether a planned transit line on Crenshaw Blvd. should be a light rail line or busway like the Orange Line in the San Fernando Valley. Light rail is the better option, it could be integrated seamlessly into existing lines, carry more riders and have a longer term of use. Don't let Zev Yaroslavsky get near it or he'll go for a third world transit solution like the Orange Line.
A memorial service for fallen firefighters will be held this Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the LAFD Memorial and Museum in Hollywood. For more information please click here.
Curbed LA has prices for some homes in Culver City that are outrageous. How is a young person supposed to afford a house? Maybe it's time reconsider leaving LA?
KCRW looks at the Mayor's lack-of-shady trees program and its failure to deliver as promised. At the same time, the City of Santa Monica has upset residents for chopping down trees. Read more or listen to a podcast by clicking here.
A program on left wing radio station KPFK finds evil in efforts to upgrade downtown skid row neighborhoods. Apparently its better to let people live in urine, destitute and alone.
The LA Times begins a two-part series in honor of the 50th anniversary of the arrival of the Dodgers in Los Angeles.
CurbedLA has photos of the construction of the new Parker Center police headquarters downtown. It seems as if the progress is coming along quite well.
And finally, did a realtor find Captain Jack's home in a Burbank neighborhood? Aye sots, dead men tell no tales!

Good morning Lord Mayor (removes hat and bows low with flourish):
I live in Toluca Lake.

...with his mom and her six cats.
Mayor Sam said:
I'm surprised more people aren't spinning one way or another about FMB Fabian.
Red Spot in CD 14 said:
You mean "SPEEDY FABIAN" ?
Anonymous said:
Okay, Mayor Sam, I'll bite...
Uhm, Fabian Nunez is the author of some of the most important environmental laws to ever come out of the state legislature. He has fierce political skills. Tough negotiator.
He can fly wherever he wants.
Hope this helps!

Hoff- quit whimpering. Had Captain Jack called out any of your assorted rightwing bogeymen yesterday you would be cheering him on.

One law that would help the local environment already exsits. That being immigration law against being in the country illegally.
Anonymous said:
Good point 12:11. Hoff- Sierra Club supports constructing a border fence, no? To save face you must cancel your membership and henceforth refer to the group as Sierra KKKlub.

Puh-leeze! Hoff is SUCH a tool...not the sharpest in the box...but a tool nonetheless. Go dry wall your garage, will you? And take your buddy Fabian with you. Teach him a trade so he can rightfully earn his "big bucks".

"WHIPPING POST", aka, Captain Jack's "LIL MUYEKA, ie. LITTLE DOLL". I am still wiping the tears of....., laughter after the verbal exercise that played out, at your expense.
Jack, are you aware of the principle of "CARRY CAPACITY" ?. This applies to the amount of living beings that a habitat can support.
The "ECOSYSTEM OF LOS ANGELES" is "BEYOND CAPACITY". Too many people fro a finite amount of resources, ie. water, transportation, housing, space.
Nunez and the Sierra Club, (DEMOCRATS FOR THE COLLECTIVE ENVIRONMENT), are wrong in not addressing the issue of uncontrolled immigration. They show that they only care about using the environment to mask their leftist, socialist agenda.

jack's web site is written as a conservative, but argues in liberal-speak. JACK, get off your beanstalk and make up your dam mind! What are u, right-wing, or whats left?

OK, I'll bite.
At least Fabian asked before he screwed Mirthala. Taxpayers weren't so lucky.

Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen (removes hat and bows low with flourish):
With respect to Spackle Boy Hoff, leave the sot alone and let him be...for now. I think we've had all the fun we can have out of a tin can of spackle, savvy? (Wipes dry wall dust off on pants legs with look of distaste).
Besides, you all know what spackle becomes when it gets hard and all dried out? (Whispers) Flaky, savvy?

Spackle equats with "MUTT DROLL" in his previous "BLOGGIN INCARNATION".

lol, well, Mayor Sam, no need to thank me for "getting the party started" as they say!
As always, glad to be of service -- and glad to give the civil service employees (uh, that "educated" pirate, for one) something to do with their time!
Red Spot in CD 14 said:
Or, "AT WILL" political operatives.

Keep up the good work readers of Mayor Sam's blog and lets's get ICE/INS to start raids in the factories of Los Angeles and get those Mexicans running for the border.

Someone found a brain in a bag next to an apartment building in Richmond, Virginia. No one has figured out if the brain belongs to a human, an animal, or to Jack Hoff.
Here's the story.

Spackle Boy has a brain?

4:02 - your comment should have been in past tense. "Had" would be the key word, not "has."

To Jack Hoff,
I enjoyed your little song about Captain Jack Sparrow.
I thought his should have been a RAP song.
Savvy?

To Jack Hoff,
Since when was Toluca Lake in Glassell Park?

Jack Hoff!
As a child, Captain Jack Sparrow liked to play with his JOHNSON.

Mr. Jack Hoff,
Many was the time that Glassell Park neighbors would yell at Little Captain Jack Sparrow, "Great SCOTT! Stop playing with your Johnson on the front doorstep!"
Savvy??

Better re-check that bat computer, ZD!
Zuma Dogg said:
9:02am,
I appreciate the fact that you think I should re-check my batcomputer...but in this case, there is no need. you must be trying to put 2 and 2 together...but you didn't get 4. meanwhile, i shouldn't even correct your error, and let you keep thinking what you are thinking...but i don't want you to think you are right and i am wrong...when I am right and YOU are wrong. no biggie...

Today at 9:05 AM there was a Captain Jack Johnson sighting. From his Blackberry. Great Scott!

I got 2 trees from the DWP program, though one was only 6 inches tall, will be a real tree in 10 years.
Red Spot in CD 14 said:
Did the DWP give you $200.00 to plant your tree ?
Anonymous said:
Free trees? With the water rates going up, we will wind up paying more to take care of these trees!
If the DWP offered free water to take care of their free trees, they just might get more trees planted! Maybe if the 3rd floor hallway monitors of this blog forwarded this suggestion on to Mister "home run," (in his dreams), the million trees initiative might enjoy better success.

9:39 & 11:34, I've got video of you stroking someone else's johnson!
Look alive, the news may be on at five!

As to a possible RAP audit?
