****Breaking News**** Malibu ablazed, structures destroyed
Santa Ana Winds are fanning a destructive fire in Malibu and in two other areas in Los Angeles County.
By far, the most destructive is the fire in Malibu. Center near Pepperdine University, homes and a historic church have been consumed by the flames.
Two other fires are burning in the Santa Susana and Castaic areas respectively.
Nature works in cycles and today is another historic repetition of that. Spanish explorer Juan Cabrillo upon seeing the coast of Southern California, called it the "Land of Many Smokes".
In 1993, a fire consumed hundreds of homes in Malibu and other areas of Southern California.
Prayers for the well being of all in the fire areas, and the firefighters on the fire lines.

Evening update:
10+ fires burning in Southern California. Big fire burning in the Canyon Country/ Agua Dulce area, homes are burning in Canyon Country right now. Malibu Fire burning east towards Topanga Canyon. New fire reported in Santiago Canyon in the O.C. One death report in a fire in San Diego County.
A 108 MPH wind gust was reported on Whitaker Peak in northern Los Angeles County.
9:30 Update:
New fire in Ontario, media like firefighters, are spread thin. Like 1993 and 2003, we are reliving a "cycle of fire" that reigns in the Southern California's "Ecological Culture".

I heard some illegal aliens started the fires to distract the focus from the midget mexican mayor, Reyes and Huizar.
Those mexicans sure are shady characters, the midget mayor is probably going to get a kick-back from the construction companies who are going to rebuild after the fire.
TV said it was power lines taken down by wind. Now DWP and Edison will need assistance.
Malibu is an independent City; part of the County. The Mayor doesnt have that much power to give kick-backs unless they are LA companies.

I would like to see some fare and balanced reporting on the many fires today but the only Fire I see on my TV is Malibu and there are more fires burning in other areas and if only a small segment of live coverage from one of the many other fires would be welcome on my TV
They have mentioned Moorpark on Channel 4, but stay at Malibu.

Chief Freemanof the LA County FD is looking for him for advice on how to fight this fire.
The Midget Mayor, Huizar and Reyes are talking up collections in East L.A. for the poor folks in Malibu who are being affected by the fire. So for they have collected $27.45 to help out the Malibu residents. Many illegal alien vendors have volunteered to take their hot dog, and corn on the cob carts to Malibu.
Does anybody know if the Malibu residents like hot-dogs wrapped in bacon or corn on the cob?

Did you see the Times today, that Obama went to Garfield high in the heart of Latino East L A -- slammed Arnold for vetoing US in Calif paying for illegals to go to college. He thinks all kids who were brought here by their parents regardless of when deserve our taxpayer dollars. Also told them any illegals except gangbangers and criminals should be legalized pronto, and he believes in even MORE racial integration in our schools. Affirmative action, busing everything.
Thanks, Obama, for making all those promises to illegals in OUR state when you don't live here or have to deal with the consequences.

He's been saying we have to get the middle class back in the schools, pointed out no big city even NY or Chicago has so few in the public schools (despite fact that most in the Valley attend, so that means few in better areas of Hollywood or Westside do or can as things stand).
