DID CAPTAIN JACK JUST SAY THE FEDS ARRIVED IN LOS ANGELES TODAY (over DWP civil violation) FOR MORE THAN PUBLIC COMMENT?
HERE'S A COMMENT BY CPT. JACK OF THIS BLOG. HE HAS BEEN DROPPING CLUES THAT ZUMA DOGG HAS BEEN FEEDING INTO HIS "BAT COMPUTER." [MY TRANSLATION IN BRACKETS.]
Captian Jack Sparrow said..."Whose afraid of the big bad Feds...the big bad Feds, the big bad Feds. Whose afraid of the big bad Feds? He flew home this morn-ing!" [Federal agents may have entered City Hall this morning for more than public comment.]
So, we have the Men In Black sniffing 'round for rights violations, do we? Poor Lucille must be happy to see them, savvy? [Captain Jack and LA Times reported that Luclille sued DWP for listening in on phone conversations, without proper notification. Some folks call it "being spied upon".]
Our inside spy, a certain Madame Wu, if you will, tells us that it's more than just the Feds that scare the pants off of You Know Who [YOU know who!]....it's the fact that many of the birds in the cage see this as an opportunity to sing under the protection of the eagle's wing. For once the bird has flown the 'coop, there is no catching them back again. [Former pissed off employees might have some additional information to provide, as long as there's an investigation, anyway...cause you wanna get your money's worth, since it's Federal time and money being spent of this.]
(Opens up brelly to avoid the bird turds) I see more than just the eagles on the horizon, for birds of a feather flock together; perhaps the IRS might be nosing around as well to investigate those expense reports? [Dirt Burnell fraudulant permit complaint to be filed with Building and Safety with possible connections to Wyenwood -- IF i read the smoke signals properly.]
Or will it be the nice chaps from Mr. Hoover's agency who come to town. Lucille my dear, better check that phone line again to make sure it's tapped and not bugged. For spying begets spying, savvy? [Don't talk to any of your old friends at DWP...Cpt.Jack fears it could be a three-way call.]

This is very confusing....
So Wendy Greuel is under investigation? Is that what
the Sparrow is saying?
I think what cpt. jack is saying is that the Feds swooped in today (was it City Hall, or DWP), because the investigation may be over the civil suit Lucille brought aganist the municipal utility for listening in on the phones, but forgetting to tell either of the other two parties that it was a THREE way call. Some call that "spying" or a civil rights violation. Meanwhile, Jack is saying that this has some disenfranchised, former Council staffers may use the opportunity to "pile on" and add some Federal Public Comment under the investigative protections. And while they are at it, maybe they will be checking some expense reports over a fraudulant permits complaint at "Dirt" Burnell in Mt. Washington -- that may be connected to a possible shady condo conversion in Boyle Hts.
The Mount Washington area is fun, cause it includes two or three councilmembers, and Cpt. Jack has said one of them was caught on tape.
AND IN UNRELATED (OR RELATED MATTERS) -- people are saying if you build your condo with supplies from Frontier, you can get real nice deal on project approval, as well. And someone even went as far as to say Frontier is owned by a CM familymemeber. But I think that person is full of sh*t, cause that would be so outrageous, I can't even believe anyone would be that stupid to try and get away with it.
People do stupid thing.

And it looks like the LAPD leadership is ready to sell out its own officers and cave into the professional grievance mob.
Shameful, but no surprise.
You must remember that this is a city with a longstanding sanctuary policy for illegal aliens. A city where police officers are hamstrung in the fight against illegal alien crime. A city where the political leadership plays the militant ethnic card and the establishment has a long, shameless history of pandering to outlaws.
You must bear in mind that MacArthur Park is no ordinary park. It is the birthplace of the violent MS-13 illegal alien gang enterprise. It is infested with drug dealers controlled by Colombian gangsters and the Mexican Mafia.
You must also recall that MS-13 has targeted police officers for assassination. Orders to ambush police officers, called "green light" notices, have been issued across the country.
Keep all of this history, context, and current reality in mind as the heat turns on the rank-and-file LAPD officers who were defending themselves from masked rock-throwers and bottle-throwers and hubcap-throwers and club-wielders like the one pictured above. Keep all of this in mind as police-bashers gin up misleading portraits of officers exercising force unjustifiably. Keep in mind that many reporters in Los Angeles are naked mouthpieces for the open-borders lobby--local reporters like reconquista propagandist Tony Valdez.
Miraculously, one surprisingly balanced account of what happened was posted at the Los Angeles Times by reporter and eyewitness Jill Leovy. Key points:
UPI notes that one officer was reportedly knocked off his motorcycle by a protester. As the officers tried to control the crowd and push them back, protesters lobbed at least one plastic bottle at them. Then: Inside the park, a small last holdout group of protesters briefly tried to set up barricades of red fences inside the park near the pavilion. Fellow protesters persuaded them to give up this plan. "You can't do this!" a protester yelled at the advancing police line as she abandoned the makeshift barricade...
...A block west of the park on 6th, a couple dozen young men and middle-aged men threw plastic garbage cans into the street. They formed a barricade of garbage cans blocking traffic and also threw material at passing cars. A large metal truck hubcap was sent spinning into the street toward people. An older man began hitting a Metro bus pulled up to the curb with a large piece of wood. A dozen men stood in the middle of the street taunting the advancing police line.
At least two of these taunters had bandanas over their faces. But most of them seemed a different crowd than those who had confronted police at the east side of the park. They were in jeans and T-shirts and had no protest regalia. When a patrol car pulled up just east of Lafayette Park, it was bombarded with bottles and debris thrown by this group.

A few MS 13 (Mara Salvatrucha) assholes caused some good people to get hurt.
Why do the law abiding Latinos not take care of this themselves? They know who the trouble makers are. Turn them in, or bring them to justice yourselves and quit whining, while the LAPD keeps us from wholesale riots like we had in Watts.
