LOS ANGELES COUNCIL MEMBER BEING SUED IN FEDERAL COURT: JURY TRIAL IS SET FOR JULY.
I stopped by the Federal Courthouse today, right across from City Hall, and had to pay $35 out of my own pocket (that I borrowed for something else), for a copy of the UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT case file, including the complaint.
Anyway...I'm feeling kinda tired from a long day at City Hall, attending three committee meetings and Jan Perry calling ZD off topic during my public comment on affordable housing, during and affordable housing agenda item, where all the other committee members were nodding their heads up and down in agreement with ZD. (So looks they felt I was RIGHT on topic. And maybe that's why you stopped me. But that's now a separate Federal matter.]
Like I said, I'm kinda tired and run down. So I'm gonna blaze one up...Watch a little Matt Dowd guitar jamming on YouTube (www.youtube.com/deepsouth81)...then maybe some Zuma Dogg Public Comment videos at www.zumadogg.com...then maybe take a shower, shave and wash my clothes...naaaa, forget that part. I'll be right back with ALL the details, and y'all will know ALL the history of the case, and Steve Hymon from LAzy Times will continue to laugh aloud with Jack Weiss, like they were doing today during a quorum, while hundreds of homeless people from the area were pleading to Council to build some affordable housing downtown, not just billion dollar luxury projects. So while these people were pouring their hearts out, begging for the City to notice them, and do what Charter law requires them to do (affordable housing element to be a factor in ALL of these projects....STEVE HYMON WAS LAUHING ALOUD (WITH THE FULL HEAD TILTING BACK FROM SUCH HILARITY, WITH JACKASS WEISS).

Question: Maybe I missed something, but if the case was filed directly in the U.S. District Court and not in the L.A. Superior Court, there wouldn't be a reason that the Superior Court would have the file available on the website.

The right to conduct a business without paying taxes, rent, or other costs that law abiding folks pay?
He's a drag on society, who wastes time of officals who are paid to operate the government, but who intead have to watch him clown around for two or three or now five minutes at a time.
