Mayor Sam's Hotsheet for Tuesday

A high school student scribbled graffiti on a bus that Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and other dignitaries were riding in during a photo-op. Witnesses say the boy tagged the rear exit of the bus with a marker as the officials rode around a South Los Angeles school to showcase efforts to improve student safety in the gang-plagued neighborhood. Maybe the kids want more than photo-ops and not to be used as pawns in construction budget battles.

WWG or K-Rod if you will is a bit miffed that Joe Mailander of Martini Republic got his own op-ed in the LA Times. What makes it worse is that Joe's piece is a critique of Times coverage (in this case stories about the Grand Avenue scheme). That's the WWG's beat and he guards it jealously. So this has led the blogger that Shirley Bebitch Jeffe only knows from Adam to declare Joseph "the least respected blogger in LA." I think Kevin is working his way up to that title. In the meantime, while the WWG posts pictures of pretty girls he has no chance with, Joe was part of a select group of bloggers to meet with US Senate whip Dick Durbin.

Speaking of Martini Republic, they've posted an interesting interview with Council candidate Alvin Parra.

RED SPOT SPECIAL REPORT

"PASSING THE SHARPIE TO THE NEXT GENERATION"

One must wonder what was going on in the head of "HIS POLLONESS" yesterday. As our mayor was ceeding another area to the "GANGS OF L.A." for a "PHOTO OP" of students exiting a MTA bus at a designated "SAFE STOP". Reality or was it a "FLASHBACK TO THE PAST ?", trumped "HIS POLLONESS". For those out there who don't read the "LA ANTONIA TIMES". Our mayor was at Santee High School for a photo op trumpeting the new MTA bus stop that was placed directly behind the school. this was done so that students would not have to walk through gang territory. As our mayor was riding the bus with students to the stop, a hooded student on the street walked up to the bus and proceeded to write his "FLAKA" on the bus window. A "LA ANTONIA TIMES" camera person happen to take a photo of the "URBAN ARTIST" which graces the front page today. Our mayor wanted the bus stopped at once to get this student who had the gall to upstage "HIS POLLONESS". Or was it that our mayor wanted to critique the student's "FLAKA" base upon his youthful days in "NORTHERN BOYLE HEIGHTS" ? (ie. City Terrace). Maybe our mayor wanted to give him a application for a "CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT GRANT ? After all, some would say that todays "TAGGERS" our nothing but "URBAN ARTISTS". School officials have promise to council to student. The school principal stated that this act was a "CRY FOR HELP". "HIS POLLONESS" was overheard saying that this student should do "LOTS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE". This would be better than the "BUTT WHOOPING", that would of happen back in our mayor's younger days. Here is another angle to explore. Why don't we fly our youthful cronic tagers to Singapore ? Just like the CIA flew "AL-QUIDA" suspects to other countries that did not have "ACLU's" or "NINTH CIRCUS COURTS". We can use Singapore to give the proper punishment that these TAGGERS/GANGBANGERS need. BUT MOST INPORTANT "MR. POLLORAIGOSA", YOU GOT PUNKED AND SLAPPED WITH A DOSE OF WHAT YOUR LEGACY TO LOS ANGELES WILL BE IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE GONADS TO CONFRONT OUR GANG PROBLEM !!! Act now or clean off your old "SHARPIE" to the next generation.

What is this "least respected" business? I'd like to know where K-Rod fancies -- er, fantasises himself in this pecking order?

It's very entertaining to find these jealous, juvenile fits between his daily make-believe journalism.

The tagger story deserves MUCH more play, Mayor.

AV got punked... order security to chase down the tagger... only to have his orders disobeyed.

AV campaigned on making it safer to get to schools... and on his very first try, two years after running, he gets punked by a teen.

How fucking perfect is that?!
