How weird is it that she was married to a guy named Galanter?
Fine role model for fiscal managment for her constituants. Interesting part of the article was how they had their house designated a "CULTURAL LANDMARK" that help to lower the property tax.

In addition to the salary, she gets the stipend for serving on SCAQMD + city car/with upkeep, insurance, etc. + telephone + benefits, etc. And with all of this she still falls behind on her mortgage, yikes!!
This should have been page 1, above-the-fold news. Imagine the same story, only make her a Republican Congressman. She would have been crucified. Nor does the "explanation" that her husband's business was having "problems" make any sense. What it had, clearly, was massive income, on which she and her husband chose to pay no taxes. The Times should press her for an explanation. Other people get sent to jail for income tax evasion. Why not her?
Maybe she had the same tax advisor as Wesley Snipes

Next thing you know Perry will pull out the race card and say she's being targeted cause she's black and this is racist. She'll then ask why don't they look into all the other council members tax records. Blacks love to throw the issue at someone else i.e. Pierce. Why aren't her wages being garnished? She should be embarrassed as a council woman to have the media report this. It shows irresponsibility, no accountability, arrogance beyond blief and sheer abuse of the law.
Isn't Perry married to a Jew? Hmmmm. Wasn't this used against her in her campaigns when Blacks claimed that she really didn't have their interests at heart?
yes Perry is a loser for (not) handling her finances this way - but anonymous is a loser too for saying (all) blacks love to throw the issue at someone else. your the reason the city will end up paying more than 2.7 million. keep your dumb as comments to your self.
