Brown Campaign Gives Delgadillo A Calculator To Help Him With Election Math
The Brown for Attorney General campaign today gave Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky “41 Points Down” Delgadillo a calculator so that he is able to do simple addition and subtraction problems correctly.Recently, Delgadillo who is down by 41 points in his race for AG, was asked to comment on his poor showing against Oakland Mayor Jerry Brown. Delgadillo claimed that he was not concerned because he had faced a 32 point deficit one week before his 2001 victory as City Attorney. In another recent news article in the Los Angeles Daily News, Delgadillo made the exact same claim:
"I was a huge underdog growing up in East L.A., but I beat the odds. I was a huge underdog when I ran for city attorney, but I beat the odds," he said. "I was 32 points down a week before the election. . . . We didn't quit, we didn't give up and people know that about me. That's what people want in their attorney general."Back in February the Delgadillo campaign claimed that they faced a 31 point deficit right before being elected City Attorney in 2001:

But with a week to go before the June 5 municipal runoff elections, about 29% of voters have yet to make up their minds.Back in February we pointed out this math problem to Rocky and since he can’t seem to fix it we’ve taken the liberty of giving Mr. Delgadillo a calculator so that he can do the simple equation: 40% - 31% = 9%. That means Rocky, that you were 9% down.

Brown needed a calculator when he took the bar exam--he flunked.
This gimmick is what I'd expect of Governor Moonbeam. How is he still drawing a Mayor's salary from those poor taxpayers in Oakland?
Brown needs a calculator to count the increased crime in Oakland.
Rocky lied about his poll numbers. He lied about playing pro football. He lied about where he grew up. He lied about being an All American.
Now he is lying again...about his truancy programs, about his gang injunctions and in his TV ADS.

Rocky has been underfunded and can't get out the message of Moonbeam's lunacy. Chuck will not have that problem.

As a Democrat, I'd rather have Chuck than Rocky. Rocky has been incredibly ineffective.
The turn over and morale are so low in the CA's office that they are having hard time finding attorneys. It's a joke and so is Rocky.

The Republitards think the whole race will hinge on the death penalty. They're in the wrong decade for that bullsheeit. Pooch is Bush's little lap dog, dispatched to help overturn abortion laws, and he'll sink like a turd in a toilet if he even manages to rise to that level. The death penalty is not in peril, but every woman in California knows what will happen if Chuck W. Pooch gets his claws on their wombs.
