John Edwards Anti-Alito Screed
We received an advance copy of an email screed former Vice Presidential Candidate John Edwards is going to send out encouraging protest of Supreme Court appointee Samuel Alito.The hearings in Washington are not going the way the Democrats had hoped and so now, they're desperate.

Yeah, that headline grabber with Alito's wife in tears really helped the Republicans.
The Democrats were not nearly as resourceful. I understand that they unsuccessfully tried to find their own females in tears such as:
* The ten year old girl who was strip-searched without a warrant - with Alito's approval.
* A young woman who was denied entry to Princeton, at the behest of CAP, which Alito joined.
* A woman who is fearful that Alito will give the government dominion over her uterus.
* A truly conservative woman who worries that Alito will not help protect the Fourth Ammendment.
So many reasons for tears...
