Bad Visuals

Steve Hymon with the Times does it again: His laugher this week focuses on bad visuals, LAUSD elections, March 2007 elections, Nate Holden's Christmas card, our photo happy mayor, TV's on MTA buses, and LA's football team name suggestions.

As for the bad visual, it came from Tom LaBonge: "If we do get a physical, and if we do take our clothes off, and if we do expose the challenges that are there, we'll find good things to make corrections."

And the winning team name: Los Angeles Leafblowers beat out Los Angeles Hubcaps

Not to be outdone, Robert Greene's piece in the LA Weekly yesterday entitled "Power Grabs Antonio Villaraigosa Should Make Once He’s Done with the Schools" also provides a riot of laughs.

My favorite: Number 4 -- The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. I mean, once you have the Health Department and the jails, you might as well finish the job. Maybe get City Controller Laura Chick to throw some audits their way first, just to soften them up for the kill.

I love Steve Hymon's take on city hall and politics in LA. He gets his point across in a humerous way. Keep it up!

Steve Hymon and 1:59 are true haters. It is within AV's right to be Chairperson of the MTA board. It's his right to make the Getty House his residency. He's the mayor! He can do that!

Who cares that that hasnt been done in a decade and Hahn was lazy and didnt want to be Chairperson of the MTA or move into the Getty House. That's his sh#t.

AV won, get over it. But Im sure if he had not done those things, he would be criticized for not doing them.

Oh shut up. I love Steve Hymon too. I also love the fact that AV moved into the Getty House.

What does this have to do with who won? Why do you always say, Get over it-Av won. Dumb shit.

Hahn wasn't lazy. He admirably stayed where his children wanted to be in school.

Why do you feel that in order to like AV, you have to HATE Hahn? Or that in order to like Hahn, you have to HATE AV.

You must be a girly man.

Typical Antonio lovers!!!! They can't even have a sense of humor. And they always blame either CD14 people or Hahn people if anyone attacks or posts something negative about Antonio here. Grow UP!!! This shows their juvenile mentality and immaturity.

Villababoso and his wife are unoffically separated. She has such a good heart that she wouldn't think of causing damage to his career. So she lives in Mt. Washington while she remains married to the 18th street cholo. But she can't stand to live with him anymore. Gloria Molina had something to do with helping him convince Corinne to perpetrate this domestic farce.

Molina stopped talking to Tony the Liar after he cheated on his wife, Corinna, with his comadre while Corinna was bed ridden due to cancer treatment. All this while his compadre - the Judge husband of Martha - was staying at the campaign office while his wife and Tony were out "working" the field.

It was Corinna who went to Gloria and told her - "If I could forgive Antonio, why can't you." - and Gloria started speaking to Tony the Liar again.

Tony has succeeded in turning a good hearted woman like Corinna into the poster child of a Chicana pendeja! Good going Tony!

I'm not thrilled with Antonio however, I do think saying personal things like the last poster about his wife Corina is mean spirited. You must give all the wives of politicans credit because they are the ones who always protect the children. Look how Maria Shriver had to protect her children when everyone was slamming Arnold. These are strong women who know what the priorities are and the kids always come first.

He ran for Mayor, and the way he has conducted himself politically, everything is on the table you stupid idiot. Put away your deputy mayor credential. No mercy for Villababoso!
