I'm suprised the City hasn't dedicated resources before now to finding alternatives to Sunshine Canyon. We've known for years that its use was winding down.

I agree. Even back in 1998 or 99 when the Council voted to continue using Sunshine Canyon, everyone could see their days were numbered.
