State of the Blog

With October come and gone, we figured we'd give you all a pat on the back. Your hyperactive rants have pushed the Sister City to new heights.

October brought nearly 52,000 page loads and 25,000 unique visitors. In combination with MS2 (which also brought in over 1000 page loads) and Sam Yorty's America (which brought in another 2000), the average is over 2000 views a day. Not to shabby for two guys so "out of the mainstream" according to some of you.

Happy November, and thanks for coming!

What a Joke!
Mayor Villaraigosa rates Arnold low. I want to see the Midget tell that to his face. What a hypocrite. Last time they met, he told him he was happy to work with him and things were fine. Hypocrite. All this reminds me not to vote for DNC candidates.

Why do you think Governor Scwartzengger is in the So Cal area so much, lately? It isn't because of the nice weather. He's just trying to get some face time with Antonio Villaraigosa. This special election is just a set-up for 2006. He knows AV is arrogant and will run for Governor in 2006.

This is all it is. Of course he doesn't want these to pass. Arnold's getting his war chest ready for Antonio.

Getting the Businesses, Drug Companies and wealthy individuals to donate for the Governator in 2006.

AV is doing the same thing by "trying" to extend the subway with these BS talks with Waxman. Waxman will do an about face like he did in 1994 when this issue was pressed again. Giving AV to say "I tried" This is all smokescreen bullshit.

Notice how AV is rallying behind the worker unions. Didn't show any backbone or leadership when presented itself. Big pay raise for IBEW-DWP(large campaign contributor), Pushing another School Bond(more campaign contributions from lawyers, architects),Pushing a affordable housing BOND (more contributions from Developers who are already raping the city) No agenda or plan for schools. Speaking at rallys against the Governor's propositions.

This election's timing is very suspect, if you were going to push items like this, why wasn't this pushed back in November 2004?

This is all a clever test-run to figure out where voters are, how they'll vote and who is voting.
Consider it a "test-screening" , both Arnold and Antonio know something about that, both primadonnas are posing in front of the cameras all day.

Wow! Congratulations! This is, by the way, a good sign for politics in our city, because the TV and radio stations -- with my one favorite exception, of course (KABC 790) -- don't really cover local politics at all. Thanks to the internet, and people like you dead mayors, citizens can inform themselves rather than settling for an endless series of Villaraigosa photo-ops (e.g., Tony on a pony, Tony on the subway). Keep up the great work!
