In 1973, in the so-called “Saturday Night Massacre,” special Watergate prosecutor Archibald Cox was dismissed and Attorney General Elliot L. Richardson and Deputy Attorney General William B. Looks like Antonio is addicted to being in front of the cameras. He's spending more time on every other issue except finding money to hire more police officers. No wonder the rank and file can't stand him.
2:00 PM -- Villaraigosa hosts a news conference to discuss his administration's economic development policies for the film, television and media industry in Los Angeles. City Hall, Mayor's conference room, third floor, 200 N. Spring St.

He is a liar! Villaraigosa pulled a good one on all of us that voted for him. He is a hypocrite.

Get over it! You got your a$$es handed to you in the election. You really sound like cry-babies.
8:05 - your post demonstrates how stupid you are. You complain that he's not getting money for more cops but instead making photo ops. Then you identify a press conference where he's discussing the economic development policies of LA's #1 economic industry.
I'm glad to see that he's focusing on protecting and improving LA's economic base that will allow us to hire those cops.
8:21 - well, we all know what you wrote at 8:05. So, in short, you're still an idiot.

Please 9:12am. Antonio is kissing butt to the entertainment industry cause he wants to be in movies. Everyone sees right threw his b.s. If he cared about economic dev. then he should have acted like a leader and taken a stand against the DWP pay raise, not give million dollar developers the go ahead for the billion dollars to built the hotel near Staples and make us taxpayers help with it. Trust me Hollywood will continue to film outside of Los Angeles especially when the media continues to report the shortage of officers we have and how expensive it is and Antonio can't do anything to solve that.
