AD 53 Updates
The Daily Breeze has multiple articles out on AD 53 developments. San Diego County voter registration forms obtained Wednesday by the Daily Breeze show Ford was registered there as a Democrat in 1992. The revelation comes on the heels of a controversy over records that show she was a registered member of the American Independent Party when she moved to Manhattan Beach.
Though she originally denied she was ever registered with that party, her spokesman on Wednesday acknowledged Ford's AIP registration in Los Angeles County but claimed the document was fraudulent.

Who cares if she was a Democrat. We live in a country in which we have a right to participate in any party or change parties, what is the big deal?

I live in the district and have received no less than three pre-recorded calls (including one from Baca). They are professionally done. I don't like her (vague) stance on everything and am a strong supporter of Lieu.
Did the Democrats work to avoid a political battle in the primary? Absolutely. Did they pick the right man for this district? Yes.
Ford is a fraud and totally out of touch with this district. Hopefully, she'll out spend herself soon. I'm sure that we will hear more from Lieu closer to the election.
Good thing no one's concerned with substance of candidates.
Loser Lieu is nothing more than a special interest whore who wants to feel important. He is a carpetbagger from Ohio - he just got here. So sad this is all we can expect in the way of local Ds. Look for him at a chicken dinner near you!
Lieu is a decent guy. So what if he's not a California native. He's a thoughtful, intelligent guy - qualities the Legislature could use - in spades.
Wasn't she in "Something About Mary"?
