Tricky, tricky, tricky. I have a theme song for your campaign. It is "The Nobodies".
Why "The Nobodies"? Who would use someone else's accomplishments and work and try to claim them for himself? A nobody! What's wrong Tricky? You can't come up with something better than you volunteered at Roosevelt HS? Who would steal someone else's ideas? Only a nobody! The Neighborhood Leadership Institute. Only a somebody could develop that and make it happen. Not a nobody. The Digital/Video Academy. Only a somebody could come up with this original idea. The problem here is that you are constantly accusing others of stealing ideas, playing dirty. Tricky, quit taking credit for someone else's ideas.

Little Sleazy Huizy Jose has been president of LAUSD for how many years now and hasn't done crap. All week the newspapers have been slamming LAUSD. Where's Little Jose been? Even Antonio lost his manhood and backed off of the school issue. Gotta give Pacheco credit for at least having a vision. No one knows what the hell Sleazy Huizy is running on.
What, Pacheco having a vision?! His vision has to be in question, when he is using quotes from 2 individuals who are not supporting his candidacy on his own campaign literature. It's campaigning 101: if you use a picture or name of somebody on your material, the community will perceive it as a form of support or endorsement for that candidate.
Definitely out of the Pacheco playbook, but you have to question his use of it since it hasn't worked will for him lately.

That's his problem. He doesn't have a vision and never did! Golly gee, we all went to college and we all volunteered and mentored at some school. That doesn't mean that qualified us as having a vision or qualifes us to run for elected office! What do you call people who don't have a vision? All together. A nobody!

As someone who does not live in your district (CD14) or care to vote for that matter for this election, I looked into your allegations. You are incorrect. I will forward your email to the to journalists find out if you are from Huizar's camp provoking havoc in an election that is for the people. This would have been interesting if your posting was true, but it is not and it only makes people like myself think that this CD14 race is a joke.

What makes Nick tricky is his -- and his crew's -- relentless will to mislead people. The highlights of his whole career involve misleading people. Tricky Nick is setting the standard for cynical politics. Call him Cy-Nick Pachueco.
What makes me laugh is that posters like the previous anon ASSUME very quickly that people who dislike Huizar are Pacheco supporters. YOU ARE WRONG! I will not support either candidate, but I will voice my opinion, if any, of either candidate.
Realize this, Huizar has ROBBED THE KIDS OF A COMPETITIVE OPPORTUNITY WITHIN AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION.
I can hardly wait for the debates. IF Little Sleazy Huizy Jose does as badly as he has at the meetings I have seen him at speaking he will get clobbered by Pacheco and Antonio won't be there to help him answere the questions. What will Little Jose say when asked why the LAUSD is now asking for another bond from taxpayers when LAUSD has mismanaged millions? Jose looks like a little 10 yr old boy in a man's suit.
The best advice for Villaraigosa is NOT to endorse Huizy or Pachueco. They will ruin Villaraigosa's political reputation.
Remember AV---Huizy did not support you for the CD 14 election when you slaughtered Pachueco. And now he wants to hang on your coat tails every where you go. Stay the hell away from Huizy because the truth about his connections with crooked developers and law firms are going to come out.

Instead of taking the problems at LAUSD Sleazy Huizy is out and about campaigning ignoring his duties. Who does this sound like? There will be a press conf. on Monday where AV will endorse Little Jose. This is all Little Jose could say about being a councilman.
Huizar played up his four years on the school board, saying the LAUSD now has plans to build 160 schools, a far cry from when he joined. He repeatedly touted his relationship with Villaraigosa, and also said he will get the endorsement of Council President Alex Padilla and multiple county supervisors.
Huizar pledged to have "zero tolerance" for nuisance crimes, and to aggressively crack down on illegal DVD vendors as well as their distributors.
GREAT! EXACTLY THE TYPE OF COUNCILMAN THAT IS NEEDED IN CD14. A BRAINLESS IDIOT!!!
What a shame, it only takes Pacheco two months to take away the education card from Huizar. He did nothing for four years as a schoolboard member and president.
It will take Huizar four years to get up to speed as a councilmember. That is not what CD14 needs.

IT'S A GRIM LITANY familiar to too many urban school systems: Failing students who are passed from one grade to the next. Crime-ridden schools frightening to students and teachers alike. An ineffective bureaucracy. A politicized school board. A community fractured between uninvolved parents and others ready to help if only someone asked them.
All these features, to varying degrees, are present in the nation's two largest school districts, Los Angeles and New York City. And though neither district has solved any of these problems, New York has made more progress than Los Angeles, in part because in New York, the mayor controls the schools.
During the mayoral campaign, Antonio Villaraigosa promised to assume "ultimate control and oversight" of the schools. Yet he has been lukewarm to a proposal in Sacramento that would do just that. To overcome his hesitation, he may want to look at the record of his New York counterpart, Michael R. Bloomberg.
Comparisons between New York and Los Angeles are always imperfect. The New York system spends about 50% more per student than L.A. does, and is about half again as large (it has about 1.1 million students to about 760,000 in L.A.). And it would take years, even if the legislation in Sacramento were to pass, for Villaraigosa to get the kind of control Bloomberg has now. That said, it's useful to examine what Bloomberg did once he gained control in January 2002 — and to ask whether mayoral control would allow Villaraigosa to do something similar.
I don't want to vote for either Pacheco or Huizar. Of the two, I think Huizar is the far worse choice. We need another viable candiate....but whom?
We already had a Councilman in CD 14 who got dumped on by the Mayor; why do we need another one?

Amen Anon. 10:27 AM. I am a proud Eagle Rocker who supported Pacheco when he first ran. We saw all the promise, all the youth and vigor destroyed as he kept company with amoral weirdoes who of course brought him down.
The Bible says we should judge a man by the company he keeps. I was willing to give Pacheco the benefit of the doubt when he initially ran into problems, but my concern is that the man suffers from the affliction of truly poor judgment of character, a necessary quality of a leader.

You data is incomplete, from what I READ in LEGAL documents, Villaraigosa is/was part of that group, even slept in that house during his early years.
Will a Sleazy Huizy supporter tell us how is HE going to defend being prez of LAUSD for all these years and allowing it to go down the toliet? Interesting that in the last 6 months every newspaper almost every other day has had a negative story on LAUSD and Little Jose has yet to respond to one story. Where's his pr crisis team?

Hey, no one likes Pacheco; he's mean and revengeful.
His allies, Eliseo the incompetent (carrier of the "Impeach Villaraigosa" petition that could not get a signature) and Ricardo Torres, III, tell you everything you need to know about him.
It doesn't take a Villaraigosa staffer (which I am not)to point out that Pacheco is yesterday's news. HIs brief tenure on the Council was marked with bitter exchanges with his peers, and he got nothing done.
Now, he wants to go back and feud with the Mayor? On who's nickel?
CD 14 has suffered enough with a Mayor who oppressed its Councilman; you ain't seen nothing yet if you re-elect this fool.
Why don't the Sleazy Huizy supporters list some of his accomplishments so we can compare? Jose is yet to say what he would do as councilman. All he's been doing is going around CD14 saying AV is going to endorse him. He doesn't have substance.
Pacheco on the other hand has the grass root support of residents who are angry at Antonio for a horible 2 yrs of nothing. Whether you Jose fans like it or not this will be a good race. Pacheco has been slamming Jose in the meetings they've both attended. Parke you better coach Jose on how to speak and answer the hard questions. He gets red and stumbles and gets angry.

Don't be an idiot. That means a ton of people, around 10,000, support Pacheco and ultimately this is where he will start from.
Huizar will have to do a lot of work to catch up and endorsements alone will not do it.
